Pistachio seems to be a popular note. I'm enjoying Haus of Gloi's Pistachio Cake pumpkin butter and hair oil. Pistache Skincare's whipped pistachio body butter is sweet, creamy pistachio and reminds me of Laura Mercier's Creme de Pistache. Yum

Kyse’s Pistachio is by far my favorite pistachio perfume. I like to layer it with Sol Cheriosa 62. I also love their Vanilla Cedar and Strawberry perfumes.

I also tried the DS Durga pistachio! What a let down! Patchouli bomb! Very masculine on me! Luckily I sprayed it a Merz apothecary! I have a spring pistachio freshie; LPRN Eau Fresh! It’s light , sweet and pretty for the spring time! Great video! As always you look stunning! Have a great day

I’ve purchased Pistachio Khair EDP by Paris from Aroma Concepts which is supposedly a dupe for Kayali’s Yum. Smells pretty spot on! I’m wearing it today and I keep smelling my wrist. Lol I mean for a fraction of the cost it comes in a beautiful green frosted bottle. Beautiful presentation and smells divine. Here are the Fragrance Notes: Top: Italian Bergamot, Pistachio Gelato, Hazelnut, Sweet Rum and Cardamom Middle: Geranium, White Peony, Muguet, Jasmine, Raspberry, White Peach and Pear Base: Whipped Cream, Marshmallow, Cotton Candy, Turkish Delight Accord, Cocoa, Cedarwood, Sandalwood and Tonka. Happy Sunday Chris. Pistachio is the note of the year it seems. I, too, “lost” a fragrance and guess which one? Laura Mercier’s Pistachio. Luckily I found in in my storage bin as I was switching out my winter fragrances. The Laura Mercier pistachio is my bar for this note so I do tend to be picky. I’m not a KayAli fan but I plan to smell it the next time in Sephora out of curiosity. It truly has been polarizing in the frag community. Oh well it’s a subjective market. Anyhoo if anyone wants a budget friendly ($25) choice try Le Monde Goumand’s Pistachio Brûlée. I’d call it a skin scent that is perfect for layering. I so wish Soap & Glory would market their Smoothie Star Body butter in spray form. It’s a little heavy for summer days but a perfect moisturizing butter with notes or Pistachio, Almond, Vanilla and coconut. It’s also very affordable. Great picks as always and I’ll be hunting some of these down. And finally you look gorgeous, airy, and springy with a pistachio flair.❤

I didn’t even bother sampling the DS&Durga cause I just knew it wasn’t gonna be pistachio. Girl of Now was overwhelming white floral for sure. I couldn’t scrub that off quick enough. I think my favorite from the bunch is probably the Urban Outfitters..I like how those fragrances are light and airy.

I am so happy I didn't even test DS Durga pistachio perfume. I was so tempted, but you make it sound like it is not even worth paying for a sample. I haven't liked any Kayali, but "YUM". I'd love to try this one. I am happy that Luckyscent now carries Kyse so that makes it easier for me to test. I wish Laura Mercier would bring back their pistachio fragrance. I love Hermes Jardin A Cythere, which is not gourmand. Then I did my first blind buy in over a year of Hermes Jardin a Mediterranean which I also love and has a pistachio note, but I have only worn it once so not sure how prominent it is in that. Great review and love your outfit!

Pistachio is so hot right now 😂 I totally agree with you on DS & Durga Pistachio. I sampled it in store and allllll I could smell was the very strong patchouli for the rest of the day. It was a scrubber for me. I even had to wash my coat afterwards because I kept getting wiffs of it days after lol. As for the new Kayali, I hated it at first but after sampling a few times in store, I suddenly love it? So weird!!

Ordered a 5ml of the dupe of Yum Pistachio from Dapper fragrances...good way to try the scent and everyone seems to give it positive reviews. Says it lasts longer than the original. Wanted to try the pistachio from Kyse but since you said both of these were tied for first for your favorite pistachio and you would not reorder the Kyse one, I decided to try the dupe and see how I like it. Soooo want to order Hufflepuff from HOS..........50% off right now and no idea how much longer it will be at that price. Site told me they don't know either....*sigh* Could find no dupe for it so may have to splurge....watching your review on it again for longevity and sillage. Let's see how long I can wait this out. ;)

Now THIS is the pistachio video I was looking for. It was really just a matter of time until I blind bought that ds Durga pistachio. So you saved me big time! I’m loving the sound of that kyse frangipani pistachio! I love the frangipani flavor in almond croissants and I think the smell will be really up my alley! Ironically the only pistachio fragrance I have and am obsessed with is Kayali's YUM. I'm on my 2nd bottle and got asked to "tone down the perfume" at work so I think it's stronger than I can smell. Unfortunately my man is probably more picky than yours Chris and he said it smells like bug spray 😅 but it doesn't stop me from wearing it, especially to work since it's a bit bright ❤ I would love to find my dream pistachio gourmand one day 😊

Thanks Chris! I enjoyed hearing you talk about all these pistachio themes perfumes. I have been pleasantly surprised with some of the Kayali fragrances I have been testing. I had been wary to test the brand because of all the mixed opinions about the house and performance of the fragrances. They perform fairly well for me and looking at the prices it's not out of line when compared for other things. I need to test Yum Pistachio out on my skin when I get the opportunity because I have only tested it out on paper. Have a great day! 💛 ~ Jenn

Once I learned that there is No pistaccio in it, I could not "unsniff" it and since then I am looking for the perfect pistaccio scent.

@@ThePerfumeNest I don't unfortunately. My budget is very low, I was looking at buying the Demeter one but several people mentioned - like you did - that the longevity is not great. So I didn't. Been eyeing the Kayali one since its launch but... just toooo expensive. 🥲 So when I feel like I really want to smell pistachio I open a jar of pistachio butter and sniff that instead. 😃

A hidden gem pistachio fragrance is from an indie brand in Northern California called L’Aromatica and the scent is Kulfi Pistachio. I love the plane Kulfi also. So good!

Love Pistachio notes so I am really appreciating your video. I had a similar experience with DS& Durga.. I got white Chocolate and something nutty in the first 5 minutes and after, absolutely no pistachio. I thought it was just me. I oversprayed so I wouldnt miss anything notes. It is not a bad fragrance but not appropriately named and it is not a for me in the end. I wore it on 3 separate occasions so I knew it wasnt a fluke but thought it was just my skin changing it.
