Yes I’m 67 years old and have alway made pistachios cake you can add chopped pistachios in the cake instead of walnuts you can make your pistachio pudding frosting mixed in with real whip cream or cool whip or dream whip if you want the cake more green add green food coloring that’s optional but real chopped pistachios is the key

I'm wondering though, if the pudding, like regular gelatin, would stabilize the whipped cream? I've never tried that, but I have used gelatin to make stabilized whipped cream frosting before, with good results. :)

Hi Hedro, I'm not sure if the pudding would because I don't know if it contains gelatin. But I do believe it has corn starch in it, which when mixed with a fat can be a thickening agent...so it might work! Thanks for watching!
