Ok so my mother in law bought a house that has about 7 pistachio trees in he backyard. It is now mid September and they still aren't cracking open? The skin is started to peel back but some of them are still yellow. How long should I wait to harvest? Will they open on their own?

Amber C ah I see well thank you! Almost everything I read said they are ready in September but one site said October so I guess I'll just wait a little longer ☺️

Did they become completle hard. Or did they stay moist
