So, what I have learned from these girls: If a gun kills a lot of people, it's a piece of shit. If you win, you're a loser. Blasting music is only okay if it's on my end. Killing people in a game where you have to kill people is pathetic. Sniping people: good. Watching shows about how not to NEED to snipe people: bad. This video was the gateway that opened up to the path which led me to become a brony. Seriously, I owe Craig and all (pre-2013) bronies so much, he actually helped get me out of a serious depression (Which had been brought on by the destruction of all of my dreams). I'd had a girlfriend whom I'd come to rely on for support and who was the very source of my motivation in life and after one and a half years (of absolutely no fights or general disagreement whatsoever) she dumped me cold in favor of my best friend of the time (another girl who later played the largest role in ending my only other relationship to date), leading me to enter a state of near-complete inactivity for around a month. I eventually was led to this video by a friend and I was confused by the concept of grown men watching and enjoying My Little Pony. One video led to another, led to another, led to SaberSpark's first pony documentary, led to me watching the show on KZbin, led to my eventual, slow recovery over the course of two years with support from the fandom and friends within it. In fact, it was October of 2014 when I finally realized I could move on from that girl.
