Missed opportunity to compare engine overhaul costs when discussing operation costs

I can't believe you didn't cover the difference in engine overhaul cost.

What's an oil change for the engine on the turbine and when is due? (hrs) And how many hrs flight time was the break even point between piston and turbine?

Why Syracuse of all places to train? Just curious bale cause I base out of ksyr and I'm interested in owning a pa46

We have instructors all over the country and we try to pair clients with the closest instructor qualified in their airframe. At the time, we had an instructor in Syracuse.

PA-28R-200 and PA-28R-201 are BOTH 200hp. Someone should not be earning a high performance endorsement in any Arrow. The -##1 in the model distinguishes that it is a taper wing. The same goes for the PA-28-151 (-161) is a Warrior I (II). Or, a PA-28-181 is an Archer. All of these are taper wing planes, versus the hershey bar Cherokee predecessors.

Just wondering where the vision jet fits into this analysis, if at all? It cruises at over 300 knots, seats 7, has a decent range, but can be bought for more like $2.7mm for a newer used model.

The Cirrus Jet is Probably most comparable to a late Meridian (not a M600/700 but a Meridian or M500). Loading to range capabilities are very similar and price is similar. The Meridian is going to use less runway but the Cirrus Jet will be slightly faster and go slightly higher (if its a newer one). The Cirrus is going to be more in line with a TBM in operating cost, a far more capable airplane. The Meridian the cheapest, purpose built, turbine.

Whatever's you do with the piston, don't lean on the ground/s
@一万小时2 ай бұрын
Many experts encourage aggressively leaning on ground. Care to explain your position?
@FlyingNDriving2 ай бұрын
@@一万小时 /s means sarcasm, there's a certain "well respected" pa-46 instructor making a no leaning claim as if the pa-46 piston is some magical exception
