I remember I saw ToyTrains4U’s video on this Tidmouth Sheds set from HIT Toys Trackmaster and I love the turntable feature where you can turn the turntable to wherever the engine wants to go. It’s better than the Fisher Price version where you have to correctly time the turntable since it moves all around. I also like the inclusion of 5 births, you can fit engines like Thomas, Henry, Gordon, James, and Percy!

Piston cup productions if you want to fix the rc thomas you have to open the gearbox and spin the gear on the motor and eventually it would work

The flip face Thomas’ motor for the wheels usually get stuck and need to be manually unstuck by someone. And sometimes it’s a split motor on the shaft that has the wheel

Thanks for the info 🙏🏻 I’ve seen some of my older engines with a cracked or missing gear at the bottom and those typically end up not being able to run anymore, or lose traction completely

I love the Hit Company Trackmaster range, and it is ashame i don't own any of them. It's a pity that the RC Thomas doesn't work. I love products how far go back as a trip down memory lane. Leokimvideo had great times searching through Hit Toy Trackmaster gear. Too bad KZbin's community guidelines have screwed him over like everyone.

Yes, the later fisher price version of this set is more common to find. When found it on amazon, it costed 299 USD, which is pretty invalid, as after all, it’s fisher price, not Hit Toys.

I think I know your problem the reason why it’s not running is because there is something wrong with the wheels or gears because my normal rc Thomas from the hit toys era does not freewheel when it’s off

I acctually have two sets, but one is in poor condition. Because of this, i can acctually extend the size of my Tidmouth sheds, having 5 doors to 8 doors (my 2 remaining doors were broken..). I did acctually have a working flip face thomas, but for some reason i customized it to have a static face, and be independent from the rc control, so now its just a regular Motorized Thomas. Why i did this, i have no clue. But its not like that i regret anything. Youre RC Thomas might be worn out. Thats ok though, if youre willing to fix this Thomas, you might need to take the Engine appart, and then get acces to the DC motor. You wanna turn the motor several times, and it should then work. However, because you're Thomas has a Broken Coupling, it could very well be that one of the wires has unfortunately snapped. If you have a soldering iron, you can try to replace the wire. If that might not work, you either have to commission someone, or just get an entirely new RC Thomas.

@@PistonCupProductions most of my plarail stuff I got for Christmas back in 2019 but most of them were the cgi designs from 2018 which are pretty bad. I did get the original classic plarail Henry with the white running board which is really cool but they are really expensive. Also, I kind of recommend you get the angry plarail Thomas since that one would be cool for videos just to use Since my main one I use is the angry one.
