I liked thoses tires in my trx4 sport for rocks and cleans the dirt very well, mud don't stay much longer after running for a while, best multi-tasking tire for me 👍

The rock beast mount perfectly on beadlocks that use the ring to hold the bead. In the PNW wet conditions these tires ar amazing. Put them on my gen8 and it was unstoppable. Nice u turn on the slide!

Awesome video as always. Love the u turn on the slide. I also have a set of this tires but on the XL version alien compounds and i love them on my bronco even more than my Hyrax. At the moment i have them stretched out on some 2.2 wheels and for me they work even better now than before.

Exocaged RC i was using the stock ones before with heavy sealed beadlocks. Now im using the stock proline foams stretched on the 2.2 axial beadlocks with one vent hole.

Have a set fory umg10. I was equally impressed at how well they do. Pretty sure they're g-made knock offs i stuck them on. They fussed some with the foam wanting to get In the beadlock. But i didn't have that issue thankfully

Never having a problem with redcat gen7 stock wheels on the contrary i found them to be a great tire for south west Louisiana so never saw a need for anything different . Eventually I purchased a trx4 sport and perty quickly decided to buy some bling plus add some unsprung wight and ordered first a 3rd part aluminium wheels and later xspeed aluminum blk/red beautiful wheels to match the trx4 sport....cant get a tire on.them and now just gather dust on my shelf.

I purchased some attractive alloy bead-lock wheels off eBay for $27 after shipping. They too were an absolute bitch to get properly mounted along with the screws being too short to get the job done. After locating some longer 2.5mm screws and still a lot of subsequent cussing I finally got a perfunctory fitment.

I've used these wheels on many tires of different brands and they usually mount up fine, not these.

Instead of using tire glue to hold the tire to the inner ring, I would suggest using Shoe Goo or E6000. That way you can go back later and remove the inner ring from the tire without possible damage to the tire itself.

@@ExocagedRC no problem. Been using Shoe Goo on tires since before beadlock rims were a thing in crawling. :) You don't have to put on a complete bead all the way around the tire either. I generally only put 5 or 6 dabs around the perimeter of the wheel. That is plenty to maintain adhesion yet still easy to pop apart when you want to swap wheels/tires.

I personally like and use pit bull tires on my ow rigs, that was painful watching you put that poor truck thru those rocks like that. However the tires seemed to perform exactly as I envisioned them on your rocks, nice work Maybe consider some metal bumpers that help it to slide up rocks, the plastic is so crunchy sounding

yeah its really not meant for that terrain, I will be using it quite a bit at the USTE in a few weeks on dirt and loose rock terrain so it will be perfect there

I like pitbull tires but... you really have to pay attention to to overall diameter.. I bought the scale set not knowing that there was different sizes.. I kept getting stuck with my pitbulls because of the size of the outside diameter.. my defender drove as about as well as the bronco in the video..

I saw someone said they put them in freezer for 30 min so it hardens rubber making it easier to mount

I did that with the proline Krawlers Predator and it worked. Didn’t work with these at all.
