It’s getting to the point where there is zero feel for the game. All these front offices are filled with nerds from some big college (who never spent a day playing in a high level baseball program) who just read chart/metrics. Then all the scouting is done based on those metrics. Now it doesn’t matter how you play baseball or how your skills translate, if you have X bat speed and Y exit velo, you are in. Thats ass backwards. I want to see baseball players, not some dude built like a linebacker who’s going to strikeout 300 times a year.
