Interesting quote around 11:30... "If I've got a couple things to do in my life I'm O.K. But if you give me one more thing to do do, I won't do any of it". I can TOTALLY relate. Story of my life and I'm struggling with the second part. Overworked, multi-tasking. Anyone?

At Gasa Gasa in New Orleans, Greg Saunier told me that he walked into the room with Chippendale, stared into the eye of the hurricane, and played as hard as he could. These two and Zach Hill are heirs of Keith Moon. We are living in a golden age of drumming brilliance.

I have had the pleasure of at least talking to him a solid half hour way before a show in 2011 and 18. He is so fucking cool its nuts. Our daughter was in NICU when she was 2 and he not only posted to help us out on our go fund me, but he also donated. I love him so much. He knows me and my wife. He met my brother last year in Louisville

Its funny that everyones complements to Chippendales drumming sound like insults but if you love his style, you just get it. He is a very unique drummer, who is one of the best to watch but if you love traditional music, youd think, "i could do that" even if youve never played before

Greg Saunier, more than any other drummer I've heard, reminds me of a young, mod-era Keith Moon. Except he's doing his own thing and makes the drumming sound even more uncontrolled and elastic.
