Before doing a Spider Man 98, I would prefer for Spider Man to have a crossover with X-men 97. That show already established sci-fy concepts like time travel and alternative realities, which could allow the creators to have the character meet while, at same time sneaking Spider Man adventure on the multiverse and his reunion with Mary Jane. Here's how they could do this: Since a producer said that, if Spider Man had continue, Peter would found Mary Jane, who would have no memories of her past life, in Victorian England , Marvel could take this idea and use on a X-men 97 episode adapting "The Adventures of Cyclops and Phonenix" (for those who don't know, it's a story where Scott and Jean travel back in time and witness Mr Sinister's origin). Much like the comic, the plot could have the couple traveling back in time to Victorian England and end up meeting Spider Man during his quest. From that point, the episode could show Peter teaming up with the two X-men to rescue Mary Jane, who was kidnapp by Jack the Ripper. However, when they found the historical killer, the heroes would discover not only that he's actually Carnage (that was another idea for Spider Man season 6) but also that he's actually working for Nathaniel Essex AKA Mr Sinister (obs: the is would be the first time Sinister meets Scott and Jean, resulting in his obsession for them in the present). In the end, Spider Man and the two X-men defeat the villains, with Sinister escaping while Carnage is presume dead, and Jean use her powers to restore Mary Jane's memories, with Peter revealing his secret for her. WIth that big plot resolved, Spider Man 98 could start with Peter and Mary Jane back at New York, allowing the new show to begin with scenario most people associate Spider Man stories (Spider Man on NY fighting street level) but with new elements that let the story to move to new directions (ex: Peter and Mary Jane are married, Harry Osborn is the new CEO of Oscorp and trying to redeem himself).

Frankly I'd rather it be revealed that Mary Jane always knew Peter was Spider-Man, it happened in the comics and remember the water clone had memory problems, and that in the end she decides to stay with him since she feels safer having a hero by her side. In fact, I'd rather May never know that her nephew is Spider-Man. She always hated/feared him as seen in the series. And if she does find out, she'll have a heart attack. No Kingpin please, we've had too much of him already that he became irritating. Last time we saw him he went to jail, now it's his son's turn to be The Rose. I also prefer Black Tarantula. I think at the end they reveal that Mary Jane is pregnant, and Ben is the new Spider-Man as he should have been.

Mary Jane probably knew Spider-Man was Peter in the 94 series. You’re right about aunt May not knowing, there been various times when she was alone and said how hated Spider-Man. I honestly don’t want a Spider-Man 98 series. Characters are not fleshed out and developed in modern. Also I believe they would kill this Spider-Man and replace him with another one at the end.

I always consider the Spider-Man Unlimited (1999 to 2001 ) 13 episode to be a sequel of the Spider-man the animated series (94 to 98 ) . It was soft reboot but nothing that contradict with the story of Spider-man animated series , Peter went to Counter-Earth with Venom ,Carnage and John Jameson's . i like the revive Spider-man animated series start from the ending of the cliffhanger ending of Spider-Man Unlimited , High Evolutionary gone mad trying wipe out all human on Counter Earth , but Venom and Carnage got caught and their out of control symbiotes will be unleash onto the planet .

If you're going the spider verse route the PERFECT villain for season 2 would be Morlun. You need a big bad for your pitch and Morlun absolutely fits the bill, as well as take advantage of the new foes that were sincd created in comics after the series ended. Have Peter's past history with the spider verse end up catching back to him. Meddling with the dimensions has caught the Inheritors' attention and they've been watching him for over a year and now they plan to strike. This would also be a good time to have Spiderman go look for our old friend The Spot for help as his portals can give him an advantage. I would also make this a very dark season, with some of the OG spidey variants from the original series eaten by Morlun. Peter would also be constantly on the run from Morlun as he's too powerful to fight in a direct confrontation, and the only option is to trap them in a dimension they cant escape from. And only the Spot has the power to lock Morlun and the Inheritors away

Xmen 97 went far above my hopes and expectations. It had no reason or business being that good. I was hoping it lived up to my childhood but it was better. I felt like a junky going cold Turkey when the next week came with no new episodes

I know X-Men 97 was darker and Spidey 98 could take advantage of being freed from censorship and allowing deaths, but this almost sounds too dark. Instead of just re-using old villains I'd prefer taking advantage of the note the original show ended on, and sending Spidey to the New York of another reality to find Mary Jane, making that the new setting for at least 6 episodes or more. The original plan was to send him to Victorian London but the sky's the limit really. I'm sure there's better comic book plotlines to adapt than the infamous Clone Saga (after all, we really, REALLY hate clones!). Would like to see Mr. Negative though, using his abilities to corrupt characters and test their moral centers, perhaps even brainwashing MJ.

My pitch listen well. Peter finds mj saving her from an interdimensional cyclone and brings her home . For her 2 days have passed . He reveals his identity to her and they get back together. However the cyclone dragged madame webs powers and she bearly sents them home. There is some kind of interferece to be explained in the second season than releases the green goblin who lands in the water just where he was sucked in. He removes the mask looking regretful .The same episode spider man fights kingpin, stopping a departed cpu type of deal who with the help of his henchmen beats peter parker up badbly. Norman Osborn makes a public appearence shocking people, claiming that he was kidnapped and used his engineering by terrorists. We get a lot of flashes to the reality he has been but the goblin seems gone peter pays him a visit smacking him in the face, unable to forgive him. He also meets the kingpin who grabs him by the throat and norman initially closes his fists and does not react at all. He tells norman that he is still in charge and the dept is not sealed, with him accepting with a stoic face. Then we dive to normans past with a passion for science and meeting his friend wordell storm in college. Showning the bond between the two friends. Norman osborn gets kidnapped by a mysterious gangster who tells him than he knows his scam ,that he was the green goblin and norman suggests its not safe but the hechmen pull out a gun . Then we cut to a lab where the gangster whose face is continually covered gets introduced to the weapons and starts laughing maniacally. Meanwhile harry osborn is kept in a high security shield facility and gets visited by peter parker regreting about all the people that he killed as the masked goblin, while telling peter that his father deserves forgiveness. There is a huge explosion at the lab where a mad driven goblin kills brutally his own henchmen. Spider man lands a punch but the goblin is very tactical and fast cuts his web and sends him to the ground . However the lab collapses and goblin escapes laughing maniacally with spider man wanting to save anyone remaining . norman visits peter once again who claims he escaped after the gamgster got mad and kill everyone. Fury then hits his desk with anger after their inability to track the goblin. Then we get exposed to the goblins money laundering scheme, and his emergence to the gangster world ,lwhile peters failed attemts to find him and dicover his identity Then the goblin kills hammerhead growing his business expandig his drug territory. Then a defended by the police armored officers osborn has a board meeting when the goblin kills them and shoots nornan in the face after his refusal to give him the files of nuclear experienments of the company, resulting in a huge fight with spider man who sees that goblin upped his game . We cur to peter looking at the dead bosy of norman in bisbelief. With kingpin having lost his ties to norman osborn but still owning oscorb gets angry that the process gets slowm down and the fact that he lost one of their best. With the goblin continually escalating to the criminal underworld suppressing the kingpins criminal empire and killimg heads of his operations. Infuriated he busts the goblin out of jail who has flashbacks of his past. He was a well trained assasin who impressed norman osborn during a shocase of a mission for the kingpin where osborn armed the soldiers with weapons, Carrying out the mission and being the only survivor of his crew. Later that day, he gets ambushed by two cars that collide with his. He manages to killed the drivers but as planned the car falls into the water and a bomb goes off to the surface while suddenly the yellow norman submarine appears to catch him. The narration is cut and we see peter and mj discusding their wedding plans with aunt may, with mary jane wanting to push things forward. Peter is concerned about the goblin stuff and insists on a non public ceremony. Then we get back to the hobgoblins past that norman promised him a new life, completely changing his appearance and threatens him to work for him as the hobgoblin and tells him the suit is full of bombs and paralisers that would explode if he misbehaved. Cutting to the present the green goblin gets ambushed by tombstone and the hobgoblin, a battle quickly interrupted by spider man who tries to stop the fight. The duck fight is insane full of exposions and blade throwing between the two villains with hobgoblin stduggling to keep up. Spider man fight tombstone for a liitle in order to reduce cassualties and then sees the green goblin beating up hobgoblin the kingpin is furious watching the battle wondering how did the green goblin expect the attack. Then while the green goblin gets hiby spider man he hits him back living him under the rubble gets multiple bullets in his kevlar purple jacket by the hobgoblin and a bomb that destroyes his suit and mask the goblin blocks every signal of the fight instamtly even hacking shields system amd after an explosion we see that it is norman osborn . Peter goes all out on him pumching him while the newly trained osborn tells peter that rage is not an ally stubbimg him in the ribs . Then he makes a ton of smoke bombs expode and attacks the goblin, telling him that if he didnt betray him he could have been a worthy ally. Jason un masked now tells norman that he is enjoying their fight, explaing why osborn does not kill him right away. After to s of insults norman breaks jason arms and putting the cape to his face slices him with a blade and throws him off a rooftop. A screaming, bleeding spider man yells no and then hits osborne once again. With broken ribs from the guns and a few wounds norman gets dizzy and leaves the fight making one last attempt to take out the wall crawler. Peter then moves from place to place in order not to be killed and sends mary jane and aunt may to europe , while seeing an evil smiling norman osborn in the airport. It is then revealed that norman betrayed the gangsters and killed them stealing the suit and reimagining his title while he went back to his underwater facility only to disvover the scientist miles who he brabs by the throat and tells him he will help him we see multiple clones most of them dead and failed with miles explaining that only peter clone was successful due to his regenerative healing then the make a deal to make it and underground goblin base that is explained that cannot be tracked by anyone. Miles promises to clone more of osborn one of wich he will kill on order to get kingpin of his back . And i will post part 2

It’s probably not canon A number of shows that people thought were canon in the Marvel Animated universe have been decanonised like Spider-Man Unlimited and Avengers United They Stand It’s not entirely clear what the canon is but it’s definitely X-Men TAS and Spider-Man TAS those two shows are the only ones for certain The other shows that might be cannon but aren’t confirmed are Fantastic Four TAS, Ironman TAS, Hulk TAS and maybe Silver Surfer TAS But only two shows are definitely connected

Within 3 minutes of this video there is a massive continuity error for a sequel series. Spider-man already met Warren and Hydroman's clone already died. Those things happened in the same episode when we found out that the MJ who married Peter was a clone created for Morrie. You told people to watch a recap for the og series but missed this important detail that you wanted the first story in the new series to center around. What I see is poor research.

Peter doesn’t know that Miles was making a clone of him, and Morris didn’t know that Peter already met Miles, or anything surrounding the situation, since he’s the original who was just told by Miles to draw Peter to him

It was akin to the end of a horror movie implying the villain lived. 2) Morrie might not know Peter met Warren, but Warren would remember. Morrie wouldn't talk to Spiderman, so that just didn't make any sense. The only thing you have is "well he was forced". Ok but Morrie isn't smart, he doesn't think and doesn't talk. He is violent and obsessed with Mary Jane, which was his whole purpose. Simply having this be a 2nd programmed clone lead Spiderman without even attempting to talk or not having Hydroman be there at all solves the possible continutiy issue. It just doesn't make any sense for it to play out the way you wrote it. It still comes off as poor research or, at the very least, poor presentation. It's also worth noting that your response reads as someone who wanted someone to say something negative so you could "well actually" them. I was actually interested in seeing a possible idea, and the clone saga would be cool, but your setup doesn't make much sense. I understand my initial comment might also read as a "well actually" but honestly I'm really annoyed with a few of the errors in Xmen 97 and I literally just finished a rewatch of Spiderman a few weeks ago so this stuff is fresh. It's one of the episodes I picked up new stuff from.

can't revive Spectacular because Sony still owns that and in order for it to come back Disney would have to collaborate with Sony to make a renewed season of the TV series OR Sony would need to continue spectacular as a movie series so you see why it can't happen and this is also the reason why disney made Ultimate Spiderman to begin with

I’m not sure they’ll do that considering Earths Mightiest Heroes, the MCU and the bad Avengers Assemble cartoon and all the spin-off cartoons and just a lot of other things have exhausted any ideas that could be used Earths Mightiest Heroes was pretty faithful to the comics and really will be the definitive cartoon for those characters There’s probably not much that could be done that would be fresh What I think Marvel’s plan will be is to have a plot line of a future X-Men season that will be Avengers Vs X-Men The Avengers do already exist in that universe as I think Spider-Man has mentioned them by name in his first episode and of course many of the characters have appeared even just in X-Men 97 alone and it could be a stretch but both Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver were said to be off world and they are members of the Avengers

I think the post credit scene should be Miguel O'Hara watching all of this on a monitor telling his AI Lyla they've found a new recruit. Also there should be an episode where Peter and MJ reunite with their old high school friends. Peter meets Flash Thompson who we find out is now a marine and engaged to Vietnamese woman named Shashan wing.

I do like most of this pitch but I would add or change some things, would like to hear your thoughts. When Peter and MJ returns they learn that there has been new Spiderman hasn't disapeared from New York that been either killing or leaving scars on the defeated enemies while there another Peter Parker helping out May and taken the real Peter life, The Spiderman being Kaine Parker using his signature Mark of Kaine technique with his hands. While Ben Reilly is impersonating Peter still believe he the real version and that Kaine and Parker are the fakes. As for Aunt May I believe she should be dating J Jonah Jameson Senior the father of J. Jonah that we know like in the comics. This way Peter doesn't need to worry so much about taking care of his aunt and allow him to not worry so much. When the portal appear let it only be Carnage, in the last battle venom became a anti hero so I doubt the would team up after everything. With Carnage leading a new villain by the name of Morlun for him to feed on Spiderman. with Morlun correcting him that he plan to look for more than just Peter Parker. it Then show a bunker that Silk is in with Ezekiel Sims watching from a monitor, without looking asking Madame Web if it time to meet Peter to prepare to fight the Inheritors. With Madame Web saying yes.

I think if they bring back spider-man the animated series, they should have this in season 1. Have a team up with Spider-Man and the avengers, the x-men, & the fantastic 4 and they fight galactics and the silver surfer. In season 2 they should build to a spider-verse story with Peter, Miguel O'Hara, spider-gwen and miles morales.
