Pitchshifter - Exchange, Bristol [7 July 2023]

Thank you to the individual that recorded this. Been a fan of Pitchshifter's ever since 1998, after hearing 3 of their songs (Genius, Microwaved and W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G.) in the original Sony Playstation game, Test Drive 5. I've loved all their music, all the way from Industrial, up until their last recordings. Being in the U.S., and where I live, I've never been fortunate enough, or had the opportunity, to get to see them live, which I really regret, and hate, and due to us all not getting any younger, I doubt I will ever get to, either. That's one of the reasons why I love KZbin so much! 🙂👍🤘

It was an awesome show, I was there and I went to see them the day after at the 2000 Trees Festival which was awesome to.

17:34 Jon brings back his gruff style for a beat and it sounds full and flippin fantastic. Just having the band maintain any level of activity is a blessing, but imagine Jon switching back and forth between the styles during a set and exploring the Desensitized and Infotainment material as recorded. Those are great albums and I think they’d be shocked at how positively it would be received.

This was a great concert, I was there and I saw them the day after at the 2000 Trees Festival, at Trees they had Colin from Hundred reasons perform a song with them and Mikee from Sikth

I remember the bassist saying in an interview that when he still had the dreadlocks that he kept a picture of him with short hair on his wallet to remind him how bad he would look and , so that he would never feel tempted to have short hair again. Well...

I got to see them once at CBGB’s. They played to about 100 super fans that knew every word. I tried to get my metal friends to go but no one I knew cared about it. I went alone and left that show thinking that there is no justice in this world that this band is playing shitholes and that all my friends were a bunch of cnts “ in the most british sense of the word”. In hindsight, that exactly how you should leave a fn Pitchshifter show. I’m telling you… Everything’s F’D
