Lucky we had been having some romance that have continued the story after the confession, examples: Uzuki-Chan, Teasing master Takakgi-San, Tonikawa (since episode 1!!!) and Shikimori like you said (now because people complaining is boring now it won’t have a S2 😭) among some others. Let’s hope that we have more like this in the future.

I really like Rascal Does not Dream series. It sets up the main couple early but still creates an interesting stories after it. Some things happens or said in the background and they find a way to address or resolves them. Sure there are tropes but the biggest thing that surprised me was they go pass highschool and adults do exists and have a role on the series. Plus the LN is already finished I think. I tried watching rent a girlfriend but even I was amazed I finish season 1.

The problem is how far they carry the tweaks I saw the similarities between Love Hina and Terrace Goddess', and I was interested in that for a while. Opposed to Iruma-kun which looked like Hayate the Combat Butler, and from what I've seen still kicks like it,countered by the actual writer using the same characters made a different tale in Tonikawa

I think what would be really cool even if it would be a logistical nightmare would be for a romcom to have at least two series, one leading up to a confession or getting together and a sequel series that is life after the a pair becoming a couple. For a love triangle or harem situation there could be multiple paths, things like “We never Learn” or “Re: Zero.” If someone doesn’t care about a specific outcome in canon who’s to say they can’t just write their own story with their preferred outcome, imagination is boundless.

That’s why 100 girlfriends is the best type of romance it not only we can see all the girls with Rentarou but we can also see the relationship he has with them and with each other and it has fun with it can be serious but a around good times with his 100 girlfriends people my not see it past it’s crazy premise(there words not mine)but that what it all about to anime only they don’t know that but in the manga we know

I remember watching the first episode of rent a girlfriend years ago and my brain going "what are you doing?" haha. Im tired of the "would they wont they" situation when we know they will from the start, i enjoy much more the romcoms when the story is told around an already dating couple or at least that it took only a few chapters for them to get together (ore monogatari, wotakoi, horimiya, etc etc). The shikimori one was just bad, i dont think the fact that the couple was already dating was a factor, the characters were just boring.

The current arc basically tells you that it’s not a harem because that’s what caused everything to happen in it. Bell wants Ais and that’s that.

a harem is one who is surrounded by multiple potential romantic or sexual partners. In this case there is no potential for romance nor sex. To the point one is basically ruining her life and all that she built just to just to try and change that. Don’t let her good looks for you. That’s not a harem that’s just harassment.

There are 8+ girls that want him... At this point u would have to make up ur own head cannon to come up with a reason how it's not, and whining about 1 girl does not work. Just say u don't know what a harem is, its ok to not know, but making up stuff because ur wrong and u don't want to look wrong, looks silly.

@@Espiritu_Analysis the definition stated that there had to be “potential” for sexual or relationship for it to be a harem. Whether it’s 3 or 8 there is currently no potential of him having any romantic or sexual relations with any of them. He currently only wants Ais and until that changes his situation doesn’t fit the definition of a harem. Now if he ever stops wanting Ais only then it would be a harem because the potential is now there for others to have him. I’m going by the literal definition.

Because ur using google to find this, and in that it says "Rosario + Vampire" is also a harem, a show were 1 guy loves 1 girl and 3+ other girls love him, based on ur own claims they would not be a harem, but the place I know ur getting it from says it is a harem. There is a difference in wanting Bell to do something and having the opinion that the "romance" between him and Aiz is complete garbage. Omori has had over ten years and over 40 Volumes (20 MS, 15 SO, and 6ish other spin offs) in the series to make it engaging and has failed. COMPLETELY. At the expense of the really good character development he HAS put into the other girls and at this point it is ruining the story. Get ready for there NOT to be in natural or earned connection between Aiz and Bell. What you are gong to get is him beating a dragon and getting a golden haired trophy at the end. While all the rest waste away in a looser club harem. Prove me wrong.
