Single women, whose brother will not do or refuses to do tarpan....or any such ritual...dismisses it as superstition and andh vishwas....in such a case what is to be done? I have heard that women must not do the pitru tarpan and such rituals and you mentioned doing something wrong against what's is given in the shastras will have negative effect...

Pranaam sir! My father passed away the day this video was posted while returning from Kedarnath. He was supposed to go to Badrinath for my grandparents' tarpan but unfortunately that could not be done. His antyeshti was done on the ashtami tithi in Rudraprayag on the banks of river Mandakini. I had started Bhairav sadhna after watching your podcasts (coincidentally on my father's last birthday - 17th Sep) and because of your shared knowledge I was able to fathom the loss and make some amount of peace with it. We are 2 sisters and my dad was also the only son so we did what we could in the short amount of time but I wish to do the future rituals as governed by the shastras. I wanted to write an elaborate note to you with no expectations attached but I stumbled upon this video today as things have started to go back to normal. I have many questions and thoughts around his demise which I will figure out on my own in due time such as the abhas on the morning of his demise, a sudden and intense urge to watch the avesham scene from Kantara the night before, prarabdh, Kedarnath being his last and final jyotirlinga, etc; but I find solace in dropping this comment. I stumbled upon your comment tdy while commenting on a question.... Just couldnt hold back to write this... I also lost my father this year ( all of a sudden, unexpectedly) in very difficult circumstances surrounding our family. However, there are certain incidents that occurred just before he passed away and was similar to what you had mentioned. Though I'm totally a stranger , if I may be allowed to say this ( with your humble permission) - Your dad must hv been a great soul and had received " anugraha" of Baba Bholenath due to his karma in this life and perhaps bcoz of his "parabdha karma"....And perhaps he was an "old soul" as well ( I dont know if you will understand this)....My humble obescience to that great soul who was your father in this life of yours 🙏🙏 May be I had " intuitively" figured out why it happened, the way it happened in my life but still there are many questions , the answer to which I'm also searching.....Certain incidences, certain visions, certain "nimittyas"..... As we embark on our indiviual journeys trying to figure out answers to our individual questions ( those who are serious about it and in today's age and time not everyone even thinks about it. As one of the monks whom I meet in the Himalayas while studying Advaita Vedanta had put it- it also requires the blessings and anugraha of the Devata to even hv deep spiritual questions and sincerely search for the answers. At that point of time, I didnt understand the deeper meaning nor do I understand now " fully", however there has been some realization over the years ). My sincere wishes to your " soul" - may you find answers to your questions that will lead to more questions perhaps culminating in the bigger question of who am I and what is my soul's mission in this lifetime.... Just a humble suggestion - Everyday we spent so much time on unnecessary things .... If you can , everyday atleast chant one mala ( 108 times) of Lord Vishnu with a sankalp that the " punya" accrued in " his lotus feet" be attributed to your father and to your pitrus ( ancestors)... May your sadhana of Baba Bhairav make you " fearless" ( in front of adversities as well as unwanted materialistic attractions that life often tests us with) and help you in your quest of finding answers ( thus finding peace within yourself - the greatest treasure that one can hv ). Yes, you are a stranger but what is really a stranger in Sanatan? I have had time to process it and while I was angry as Shiva for 'tainting' the memory of Kedarnath, I have come to realize it has always been his blessing, every single time! How can I be mad at someone for taking care of my needs before I even needed them? I met my husband in 2010 who is from Uttarakhand and if it wasn't for his extended family, the handover process (of the body) and anthyesti would have been a nightmare. So imagine, because my father had to depart in 2023 in Uttarakhand, I had to meet my husband in 2010 out of the blue. I'm not searching for answers anymore related to his passing, I know it was divine kripa all along. Some days when sadness overcomes my mind, I do nitya pooja out of habit while other days out of bhakti. While I personally engage with Bhairav/Shiva sadhna only, my husband is a Sri Rama bhakta and through his sadhana (and of the kripa of his ancestors) our blessings have been intertwind and Baba has been nothing but gracious and kind. In my last comment , I had shared that I lost my father last year. This year, on the death anniversary of my father , at the very same time , I lost my mother....Same day, same time - just year apart ...... Today, I'm just a spectator of my own life - as if I'm watching a film of my own life following my learnings from Adaivata Vedanta and whatever little I could learn from Himalayan masters.... Just trying to connect the dots in my life and trying to understand the reason for my existence... You know an interesting thing ? However, when you mention the instructions and specifics of Upasana, you’re leaving out crucial information that applies to every woman who wants to go down this route too (particularly pertaining to menstrual cycles). Pls add a little segment to all your videos that specifically speaks about how women can incorporate the Sadhana and the caveats that may apply to us and the workarounds, if any. There’s no reliable information on the internet about it either. So you would be most women’s only source of relevant reliable guidance. Otherwise, even though we embark upon this journey, we’re clouded with uncertainty and even some amount of fear at times of committing mistakes and invoking wrath instead of blessings and a downfall instead of spiritual growth. 🙏🏻

First of all. I am a big fan. You opened me up to a whole new world. On the off chance that you see this comment, I am 30, and I have pitra dosh in my Kundli, I don't know how strong it is but it has affected my life a lot. I lost two of my brothers when they were 28 and 23, this was almost 13 years ago. They both were mentally challenged. Mum and Dad did the normal 14-day shrad that we do after someone passes away. I don't know more about it.

Your parents will have to do pind daan (in hindi). Talk to a pandit near your home. If you are from North India, then your parents will have to go to Gaya (Bihar) and Badrinath. This is on a very high level I am talking, there are other protocols that your parents will have to follow, but again the details can be shared by your pandit. And this goes without saying that when your parents will do pind daan, they will do it for their ancestors as well whose pind daan is pending.

Do the simple Bhairav mantra sadhana which he has told daily continuously for months until you have completed atleast 125000 chants of the mantra. Lord Bhairav will guide you from there onwards.

Thank you sir i have watched almost every podcasts of yours. I remembered one line that you had said in one of your podcast that if i chant mantra with utmost devotion and sincerity the mantra itself pulls me. So I wanted to know how true is that. I encountered a situation where i have been chanting beej Matra of some god for significant of time and its 5days and i never felt so strong like before. I realized something that's kept me seated in the same position and pushing me to chant the mantra. I forced myself to break it as my daily number of japas that i had made in my sankalp is done but i kept chanting. Looks like i have been made to continue. I got scared and forced to break it. Rajarshi Nandi sir But when we are young, how would we even know all this ? I struggled so much in life in academia after everything, I came to know that I have Pitru dosh. One strange thing I want to share - I was told to do puja in Trayambakeshwar, it was very difficult to go and do puja there. Car driver slept and I was late to go and start puja. It still haunts me how hard we tried to go and do the puja. And the Brahman family was also very aloof with us.

Hello dada how are you. Always waiting for your episodes and there is strong connection to your soul i think. Thank you for guiding me in right direction which always am requesting to god to show me the right direction last year. Am finishing ganapathi Upasana 108days with daily 21malas of ashtothara shathanamavali soon. Am thinking to perform durga dwatrinsha namavali in upcoming days of navaratri for 9 days with 54 malas each day. When last time i did Ma Durga upasana at gupta navaratri i felt strong energy from ma which i cant able to handle it and somehow I finished it. At that time there was something unusual happened in my home like some body walking and some sounds my family felt. Please suggest i want to do ma durga upasana in a right way.

Sister, During menstruation you should tell the deity your problem and ask for forgiveness, and ask him/her that after you get pure, you would continue the Sadhana/Anushthanam, then after your periods end, you should continue the sadhana from the next day after taking full body bath (including head). You can chant the name of your ishta dev in your mind if you like, during the menstruation period. I'm no expert, I've learnt this from KZbin only. :) Jai Shree Ram🙏

I’ll repost what another commenter commented on his Bhairav Upasana post: I can sum it up for you, Basically you can start the name mantra of Bhairava which ' Om bhairavaya namah' - you can google the pronunciation. Use rudraksh beads 📿 for doing this. Light a diya and dhoop ( clay form of incense sticks) have some food offering too ( some sweet or something) Start the chanting and see how it feels and then you can set a minimum no. That you do everyday. First goal should be to complete 1000 malas ( mala means the 1 round of 108 beads)... I can 100% say this is EFFECTIVE. I’ve been doing this japa of Batuk Bhairav every night for 33 days, with offerings of incense and sometimes candy or wine. If I don’t have an offering, I’ll visualize offerings before I begin. From my own personal perspective, if you have a family deity(mine is Virgin Mary? As my family has been worshipping her since the 16th century), and asking her to connect me deeper before I do japa to Batuk Bhairav. In the past month, Batuk has been sending me dreams and hints, and I discovered that my Ishta Devata is Hanuman. I connected with a Guru who gave me a Hanuman mantra, and now, I pray to my family deity first, then Hanuman, and I finish with Bhairav mantra. Of course, no one needs to spend this much time. If you are sincere, Batuka will assist you in magical ways. I have found my Ishta Devata, but I still offer at least 1 mala to Batuk as an offering to protect Dharma around and about all sentient beings, as well as connect with him deeper to bring me closer to Divine Mother. Never have it if you have offered on shivling. Whatever is offered to linga, has a portion for ghosts. So, it's better not to have it. That's also the reason why we don't take anything after offering to shiv linga.
