Senior 6’3 220 lbs
Pitt QB Kenny Pickett has led the Panthers to a historic ACC Championship winning season. He was named this year’s Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award after a 4,319 yard & 42 TD regular season. Like Joe Burrow did in 2019, Pickett has raised his stock from projected late round pick to 1st rounder. It’s only fitting that he’ll be in New York as a Heisman finalist.

From pitt to pitt. Looks like steelers have a solid QB roster. Trubiski is a 1.5 QB. Better than a bench player but not quite a starter. Having him on the bench when pickett starts will make the QB position solid. Both have very similar traits. Both extremely mobile

People really are overlooking his ability to throw perfectly on the run, I mean he rolls to the right and just throws a dime just to the right of his receiver away from the db without stopping at all to plant his feet, he will be coached to plant to throw on the run or at least release off his right foot but the ability show there is pure talent and a feel for the ball, very overlooked

The stats do not tell the story. This guy has superstar swagger and ability beyond numbers. He is an exciting QB prospect that we have not seen since Aaron Rodgers at Cal. This is guy has every tool and trait you want from a QB at the NFL level and will be on the level with the top passers in the NFL fast as long as he is not drafted by the Jets. #1 overall is saying to little. This is my favorite QB prospect in a long long long time.

I am more impressed he broke the ACC record playing for Pitt. He put up Alabama, Ohio State and OU kind of stats not playing at a big time program. He looks like a great option for a more veteran, established team like Pittsburgh, New Orleans as a guy who can step in day 1 and add incremental improvement without selling the farm to trade up to get him (similar to how Mac Jones was there for NE to pick)

His O-Line did a good job. I want to see how Kenny Pickett does when he's under a lot of pressure. Sure Pickett scrambled a little bit but that's with college pressure where the players are weaker and slower than NFL players. Can't really assess how fast Pickett can process and go through the reads in this clip because he had such good protection. The ability to quickly go through reads is one of the most important skills an NFL QB needs to have. Don't know if Pickett has that ability from watching this video.

As a Pitt fan, I can say that while our Oline was overall spectacular in pass protection, there were games where he was pressured heavily and showed why he’s among the best in this class. The Clemson and Miami games come to mind. He has the gumption to extend plays and doesn’t shy from contact, making him very good at handling pressure.

However, whatever your teams name is 2/2/22, you have a higher puck so he probably isnt available when the Steelers pick. Colbert has only traded a 1st rnd pick once and traded up in the deaft 3 times....so we realistically will grab an o-lineman and hope Rudolph or Haskins manage to be a gap holder til we have better QB options in the draft
