Pitt vs. Duke Game Highlights | 2023-24 ACC Men’s Basketball

For the first time since 1979, the Panthers defeated the Blue Devils in Cameron Indoor. It had been three years since Pitt had beaten Duke, but they took down the #7 Blue Devils, 80-76. Blake Hinson was a perfect 7-7 from three-point range and scored a game-high 24 points. Hinson also grabbed a game-high eight rebounds. Freshman Jaland Lowe scored 17 points, including a critical three-pointer with 43 seconds left to put the Panthers up 4. For Duke Jared McCain scored a game-high 20 points and Kyle Filipowski had 19 points and five rebounds.

Duke missing 2 starters, one of them their senior leader, the other, their best post defender. That might have something to do with it. Add to that 2 or 3 Pitt players who played WAY over their heads. Recipe for upset. Happens all the time, not just to Duke.

not even an acc school fan here, its not that hard to figure it out. duke had two starters out and that kid who jumped up on the table at the end shot 7/7 from three I believe, so he played out of his mind. News flash, upsets happen, this is basketball lol. this sort of thing happens all the time, duke might be slightly overrated but theyre still an extremely good team, around 10th. aint nobody gonna say they want to play them in march xD
