7:39 Pat White is not happy, lol This has to be the 3rd biggest upset of the 2007 season, IMO. 2nd being Stanford, a 41-point underdog, beating No. 2 USC, and 1st, of course... App State over No. 5 Michigan. Most likely your best chance to get to the National Title game, and you somehow blow it... West Virginia has still not recovered from this to this day.

I think this is tp5 hardest College Football loss EVER. (Translation= meaning hard L for a school's fanbase.) ESPECIALLY since WVU destroyed an Oklahoma team in a BCS Bowl after this L. WVU destroyed a Oklahoma team who rolled imo the "best team in the country in 2007." Not once, but TWICE! The Missouri Tigers. If West Virginia would of played scared/jittery like they did vs Pitt? OU wins "56-13." Imo... Crazy 2007 Season? Missouri vs West Virginia imo was the TRUE National Title game. Imo? The tp2 teams of that crazy 2007 Season.

They went ultra conservative and didn't attack downfield for most of the game. Pitt made them pay by outnumbered them in the box, and they didn't adjust. Corners played off the ball deep, and they didn't throw curls until the end of the 4th quarter. I think after those two field goal misses they got in their heads and played not to lose

This was one of those games where it should have been a lot worse for WVU even though they shouldnt have been in that dreadful of a situation in the first place. The west virginia offense barely attacked downfield the entire game and they made them pay by stacking the box.

Well this was during the 6 year streak a SEC team won the national championship. ESPN really started to go all in on the SEC around this time so maybe your opinion is right this game was a fix to force the then BCS to take a 2 loss LSU team that year due to how crazy that season was or was it all a fix by ESPN to benefit the SEC. Alabama the next year really started to launch their dynasty.
