OMG I love this head-tracking gear, it’s such a great way to utilise the FPV technology. 😊

That upside down flight with head tracking is trippy! I fly quads but man that looks like fun! Wonder what pylon racing with 6 pilots flying FPV would be like :)

If I recall the real Pitts Specials can do outside loops also. Very nice flying and great to see content from you again.

Simply fantastic! I have the DJI goggles 2 that have inbuilt head tracking but, I believe it only works with the camera drones. What wireless head tracking are you using? Thanks for the help and great video😎
@AndyRCchannel5 ай бұрын
It's an open source Arduino head tracker. Search for Cliff head tracker

I have watched your radio control channel for 4 or 5 years i think . I had to use line of sight on the 4th of july fireworks day in the USA . LOST MY quad copter . The vtx froze or unplugged . The old airplane sized RC832 . The crossfire signal was not weakn enough to failsafe and drop . But the control was not reacting . I had a strobe . I could see it hovering and yawing . But the other stick seemed not to work .

I'm with you Andy, no flight controllers in my planes, they don't need it. Making me want to get my planes out again, been a while..... I.dropped out of the scene when digital fpv came out, just couldn't justify spending a ton more money changing everything fpv related.
@AndyRCchannel5 ай бұрын
Yeah digital was expensive. Not now. We picked up a set of v2 goggles with an air unit second hand for 180 gbp. Cheaper than analogue ones lol

Biplanes are more fun 😁 I've had some trouble with my headset because of the missing compass, it sometimes drifted like mad. And the WhatsWoot is a barely sufficiently powered 😉 Now I implemented the version with compass and it's waiting for a next attempt. I also meanwhile bought an Extreme Flight Peregrine, as the next FPV model. It is really crazy, something to get used to before thinking about FPV. It also lost the canopy after some negative G 3D maneuvers which is not a good thing, since that's, where the camera should be mounted 🫨 Luckily, with the help of my buddies, I did find it in a field of asparagus.
@cyclops-fpv5 ай бұрын
"Rommel's asparagus" during ww2 was put all over in a field so that it ripped up gliders as they landed.true fact dat😉

@@cyclops-fpv Well, that was a normal asparagus field 🙃 But I sank up to my ankles in mud and looked like a wild boar 😀

Why do you sit the camera at this part of the plane ? The fuselage is blocking the middle 40 % of your view ?!
@AndyRCchannel4 ай бұрын
It's where the pilot sits in the full size and I like the scale flight
