I think Justin settled in a little bit. At first, he was very inaccurate with his passes, missing some very easy passes out on the wing and on the sideline close by. Then, I had no idea what was going on with the center and QB exchange, but it seemed to be issues earlier on that was ironed out. After that, especially in the second half, he seemed to have a little more confidence and comfy and just managed the game from there. We need to get better in the running game to help Justin out. I still believe we need another receiver on the other side of Pickens. I do believe Fields held the ball longer than he should due to the fact that receivers were not getting separation consistently.

Maybe Deshaun Watson will worry about himself and the Browns only now, since they lost to the Cowboys and the Steelers was only team the AFC to win in Week 1 of 2024. Just thinking out loud!!!

10:50 that punt from Boswell looked so nonchalant, like ehh no effort and boom 💥 💨

it was tough but the defense is getting better. I think this is the year. Next game is tough as well at Denver.

13:45 with the calf injury or tightness & even without it, I don’t necessarily see Russ making it bc it’s not just the arm, you talking running behind the O-Line making the defense shift, and and then after running to the left which is where I’d say can Russ perform the task of making that run, stopping & throwing all in one motion, idk. I will argue Justin has a stronger arm also, Russ probably still has better accuracy but you need a really strong arm to make the throw Justin made & right after that run to the left

I knew you would say some stuff like this lol. As a yinzer, I understand the excitement. However, this looks like a slightly better team than last year and still a first round exit.. I pray I’m wrong but I don’t think I am.

That was the biggest thing they played conservative tomlin is teaching fields how to protect the ball when they asked him to make a big play he did

100% agree. I don't understand all these comments hating on Fields. He ran the plays that were called and didn't play hero ball. Blame the conservative play calling if anything.

4:30 Fields isn’t getting injured just training either. Fields is even on the Field running and taking hits & getting right back, stopping himself from runs like he’s sliding on ice & jumping right back up, only talking about that bc his calf isn’t falling about. I think Russ is done.

We had opportunity score 6 times with today’s offense 🤷🏾♂️ fields will get no credit

Gotta get into the endzone. The play calling was great but ya got to get into the endzone. No problem on defense.

I hate that I’m probably right, but I think that we have a pair of legs at QB, and not an arm. I’m not saying that he doesn’t throw the occasional nice pass, but we’ll be talking about his legs, than his arm all season. And that’s not what you want at QB. Arm first. I hope I’m totally wrong.

The refs dudded TJ multiple stip sacks. Boz is money as usual and if theres is not many injuries on defense this season we'll be the top D in the league. Let Fields cook man he looked comfortable.

23:16 so glad I’m not the only one that seen that, I was like wtf is this play calling, it was pissin me off watching it. I was like this ain’t Fields playing bad, this the damn play calling

OSU fan watched fields play for us. He was solid. Wasn’t elite but wasn’t just solid either. I think his time in Chicago had greatly damaged him. Maybe permanently so. But he can do enough through the air and with his legs he is elite. I think we had a scheme drawn up for Russ and if we can scheme for his mobility with boots and rpo then we can get some points rolling. Not saying we’d be world beaters but we’d be solid.

He literally did what Kenny did managed the offense no tds and no passes in the middle of the field I need more from the offense

I'm not worried about the defense as far as the offense we have to stretch the defense out early in the game like the first drive we have to take a shot down the field
@Thatdudepeavey2 ай бұрын
Overall we looked good I liked our free agent signings could have been better on run defense but I’ll take it!!! Wait til Justin gets more comfortable!!!
