Thanks for answering my question! Mr. Smith was correct regarding the heartland reference: I'm in east central Indiana. There's an annual Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis, and lots of folks like to claim that Indiana is the heartland. But I grew up in western PA. I love Pittsburgh, have family there, and visit every chance I get. Keep up the great work!

I was always "Get in the dance to have a chance". I don't want to watch a losing season, but would still be looking for the good parts - GO STEELERS!

MVP Cam, TJ, DeShon. Totally love your take, Alan, on the playoff bs I read everywhere. So tired of the prevailing playoff failure/fire Tomlin takes. Nobody ever says "Holy shit I can't believe how Tomlin coaxed that many wins out of this team!" All these fans who want to lose or tank seem to think turning that culture around is a simple thing and the Steelers will magically win well over double digits and get back to the Super Bowl. Makes me wonder if these people only watched the Big Ben era Steelers, those of us old enough to remember the dominant teams of Chuck Noll, the end of the Noll era and the high and lows of Cowher's Steelers appreciate always having a team that has a shot at the end of the season. I like the expanding the coaching staff resolution as well. Thanks for the content guys, always love listening the shows, and Happy New Year!!

I agree with Zach that we need to win in the playoffs so that all these asses who complain can shut up and all their narratives are instantly invalidated.

Yes, let's win a playoff game and hopefully more. You guys need to start a conversation after the season about what it would take for you to trade George Pickens. After studying videos of the top20 WR's in the 2025 draft, nobody could replace Pickens. Trade value will be sky high this offseason with a year left on his rookie deal. Titans received picks 18 and 101 and it's possible Pickens value could exceed AJ Brown. Also need to consider we'll probably receive a 2027 3rd round comp if George plays out next season with us and then leaves as a free agent.

Russ did go 6-1 before the last three brutal games, locking up a playoff spot no matter what we did our last four games. That's gotta count for something, but the next two games will ultimately tell the tale... I'm cautiously optimistic, but I know they have the ability, it's just a matter of playing their game the way they're capable of. We've seen it.

MVP to me is the player that if we don't have him playing we would most likely lose that game. I can only think of 2 players.

Alot of soft tissues injuries, but not alot of season enders. So idk did we have couple calf strains instead of Achilles tears?

MVP: Cam Heyward A Steelers resolution I would put out there. Look in the mirror and resolve your uncertainty. What I mean by that is do whatever it takes to pry JJ McCarthy from the Vikings.

All season you talk about Najee but he rush over 1,000 again 4year. Is ii personal he is the milk cow. And again no line it’s hard to a 1000 yards
@davepheilshifter241823 күн бұрын
Najee was my 3rd most valuable offensive player so I hope he returns next year. We all like Najee but also see players like Zeke not live up to expectations as they get older. Go watch some videos of Jeanty, the Ohio State duo, and Skattebo who would cost less than half as much against the cap before deciding on next years milk cow. At this stage Najee might be most comparable to bruiser Jonah Coleman who will be a day3 pick.
