I have a pixel 2. I've found very slight adjustments to exposure, tint , warmth and contrast make a difference. I do this on Google photo mode 😊

Pixel 4 has yellow tint in it's photos. Apart from zoomed pics and portraits, 3a had some better looking pics. This makes me consider buying 3aXl. Awesome review.

I think you never owned an amazing phone like Huawei Mate 20 Pro for instance. It's not only holds the charge for 2 day with heavy use easily but also has much better design and hips of other features unavailable on Pixel 4. New Pixels really are rubbish phones for given price and features they offer. There are too many amazing phones for half price of Pixel right now. So trashing the new Pixels in numerous reviews is justified.

@@victorrumyantsev3718 Pixel phones lack some features most competition have, thats true (no expandable storage, no dual-sim, no wideangle). But they offer things that other brands mostly dont. Pure android isnt that common, most slap a UI on top of it which, in many cases, is worse than stockversion. Also the camera... I exchanged my p30 for a pixel3a and I have to say, Im pretty happy. Pictures are imho better on pixel3a (more coloraccurate, no beauty/artificial images, HDR+ is on a whole other level). And while Id have a 'pro-mode' on the huawei modes, Im not gonna use them, Im not knowledgable on that topic, so I want a phone which shoots amazing pictures without much of my own input. Purely the specs on paper are shit on pixeldevices, I agree. But numbers simply dont tell everything. And, personally, Im no fan of EMUI at all. No fan of bloatware either. And no fan of a locked bootloader.

The 4 had better white balance,sharper in zoom, better portrait cutout , better front video , better front camera pics, slightly better rear photos, better mic, and sightly smoother video stabilization. That's all enough to get a 4 over 3a especially once you add performance ,ip rating, wireless charging, better display, better build, 90hz refresh rate, the face unlock with radar , better assistant once you factor that in it's definitely worth 800$ ppl forget the pixel 3 started at 800$ last year so now you have a phone better in every way but at the same price

Wouldnt necessarly agree. Was waiting for the p4, but the 2800 mAh with more features, a faster processor etc. makes the battery life way worse than the p3a from my research. For me, its not even about the price at all. I just want a 'not-too-big' phone with decent battery life and a great camera and ofc, the smooth android experience. I'd also love some other features which were sadly left out (like WA-Lens, expandable storage and whatnot). Pixel3a is okay battery life, but from what I've read the p4 has a kinda weak battery life. Im looking forward to the pixel4a for that very reason. Hoping mainly they pack a bigger battery and maybe a more power efficient processor.

@@thetute59 the pixel lineup never had expandable storage . And all reviewers say the pixel A series regular and xl both have good battery life . My 3a easily gets over 6hrs screen on time everyday and it's 1,100mah less then my S10+ But yeah the wide angle would have been nice, needs a brighter screen also , and a larger battery but you'd only have to charge an extra 30mins in the day to get you all the way through so it's not a huge deal . I don't pay any attention to the techtubers about battery life because I always get more then them and usually play games and somewhere around 3-4hrs of KZbin and the usual calls,text,email,social media depends on the user . Mkbhd would say his S10+ was getting 5-6 screen on time and id get 7-8

For 2x zoom that's true but when you zoom further it makes a difference because then they can combine the optical and digital zoom while the Pixel 3 struggles when zooming further in.

I got my 3a XL for 4oo.oo bucks tax included. For this price it has the best in class 📷 & better than most flagships. Saving 4to6 hundred dollars made me & my pocketbook very happy. Am missing much from the pixal4, not really? The 3a does everything I need in my daily routines. Very good review! I still highly recommend the 3a & 3a XL to anyone, I think Google hit a h omerun with these two!

Utilisatrice des Google pixel je remarque une différence dans les photos du 4 en faible luminosité avec le mode par défaut il produit d'excellents clichés. I am not 100 % sure, but it looks like the Pixel 4 XL uses a dedicated processor to process the photos while Pixel 3a may use the phones CPU, but even the Pixel 3a had some disadvantages over the I can not see any flaws in the photos Pixel 3a produced. I have plans buying Pixel 3a as a replacement for my Samsung Galaxy s7 due some damages.

Never owned a pixal, the S10+ is my daily. I wanted to experience the Google effect so on Cyber Monday got the 3a XL for 4oo.oo bucks including tax. Wow-we this camera blew me out of the water. To be honest the portrait shots are better than my S10, yes I said it my g-whizz phone? Plus the 670processer gets the job done very well. The battery on average gets 7hrs SOT, not to shabby. And with pure android10 is very good. I gotta say for the $$, this is a very good phone & I highly recommend it!

Pixel 4 videos look much better (Not front facing because you look smeared which I am assuming was smoothing). I really didn't expect it to be that different but it has much better clarity in the distance.

IMO the telephoto lens in P4xl doesn't do much difference in normal or lanscape shot etc.. Maybe it's most useful in potraits shot. I've tried P4xl camera test with P5 & it seems to be the same. The P4xl is sharper & the edge detection is better than P5 in potraits. In other shots, that telephoto zoom lens are somewhat not useful. It's not like a Samsung S21 ultra telephoto lens or a huawei telephoto lens. Maybe that P4xl 2x telephoto lens has a different purpose..just my 2 cents.

totally with you! One of the reasons I opted for a pixel3a instead of a pixel4...(I know, both dont have WA-lens, but then Im spending basicly half the price). I hope they implement it in the pixel4a, then Im totally hooked. I also wish the battery to just be bigger, 3300-3500 mAh or something. @@joeslacker1020 The pixel 4 is slightly better with pictures, but it's not a huge difference. It's something you only notice when you have both phones side by side. Video on the pixel 3a is also quite decent, the only thing that lets it down is the audio, which can be a bit soft and crackly.
