I love the audio split you did with this vid. That it's like 70/30 biased to the side of the screen so that you can tell which one it's coming from but also that it's not fully off in the other ear. As usual, excellent work, Ben.

Best camera comparison in KZbin. Other reviewers DO NOT go to the lengths and different scenarios which you have presented. Covered all the cameras and pretty much every lighting scenario in the real world..not just studio lights. Instant subscribe. Please don't change this style of videos. Excellent comparison. I like the audio from both . The pixel runs a tighter , more compressed without sounding compressed and the vivo has a more airy and open sound without alot of background noise. Both are pleasant to listen to in their own ways.

@@bensgadgetreviews best sensor, every lens should 1/1.31 inch sensor, no matter the focal length, no shading like sony full 1 inch type and maybe xiaomi too much unprocessed unfocused bokeh, its perfekt sensor size currently, just want a phone that has at lest 3 focal lenth with tis sensor axon 40 ultra is great close call but wy wy vivos autofocus on ultrawide is so poor :(

Can you do me a favor and download the display tester from play store, go in to burnin detection option, slide down green and red color to extreme zero, and slide down blue to .1 % so that it almost looks black but is not completely black. Now, make the brightness 100% and see if there is any burnin/tinted portion on the screen. I replaced one device and got the same issue on the other one aswell. Please help.

I forgot to mention I stepped up from the Pixel 4XL which I loved to the Pixel 6 which is so so so much better!! I think Google phones really focus on photography plus build in "magic eraser" which is just so handy and quick because it's built in. With the Zhiyun Crane 3 which you reviewed the video is velvity smooth. My solution for better wide angle is to MOVE back :-) :-) For us US guys and gals it is fast and handy for Google repairs and support. However, I have still always liked the "color pop" in the Vivo X70. Like you said Ben ALL the top tier phones are really good...just nit picking :-) Thank you again Ben for making tech so much fun. We ALL appreciate how HARD you work on your videos PLUS your MASSIVE knowledge !!!! 🙏😊👍👋

Great comparison as always, Ben! I like the pictures from the Vivo, but to my eyes the Pixel images are a little bit better. Even if somewhat noisier I think I prefer those. But it is really hard to pick one, it just shows how far we've gotten in the camera department... I have a small suggestion if I may. Whenever you are in a different country or place, it would be really nice if you showed us (and spoke a little bit about) the places and such. :)

Nice video. I would say that you should've bring the price into the comparison aswell. For example, the pure android experience, the monthly updates and the price(900€), made me choose the pixel 6 pro. I was very tempted to buy a x70 pro plus, but wasn't available in Germany at that time. And 900€ vs 1200€ made my decision alot easier.

This is a great video. I also use vivo phones namely the v17 pro, x50 pro, and the x70 pro. Whenever i use the selfie camera, i tend to always check the settings and the filter. I don't like also the whitening and buffing effects so i make sure to turn it off always 😁

Great stuff. I agree, most flagship phones' cameras are now very good and the Pixel lead is no longer obvious. So it comes down to what you value more with the cameras, or like me, do not even make a conscious choice with cameras as they are not going to be deal-breakers. So for me, the OS is what matters and as phones mature, this may be more relevant than anything else?

I don’t think even the OS matters. In general day to day use, you can’t tell any difference between android and iPhone. Because we use mostly the same apps on both platforms. I went to iPhone for the first time after being on android for a long time. My first phone was iPhone 4, then went to android and now got iPhone 12. And honestly I don’t feel like I’m using a whole other OS. Only thing that matters is phone to phone features. Features that are offered by different phones, be it iOS or android. Even within android, different phones offer different features. Whether they’re hardware or software, that’s what matters. I miss the big notchless display on my previous oneplus 7 pro. Also miss the dedicated slider button, which i think is the greatest feature that no other has been able to do.

Shocked to see vivo night shots with significantly less capture time are a lot more detailed and sharper than that of pixel 6 pro. Pixel night images are brighter but very soft. Also, on the selfie video, I almost thought it was raining in the background on pixel 6 video as there are a lot of noise. Noise is so heavy It looked like rain. However, the dynamic range on vivo selfie camera is really bad. Great comparison video as always.

Awesome work on comparing these two phones Ben. Special thanks for uploading albums for each phone with plenty of photos! I had highest expectations for Pixel 6 Pro. But noise handling is just horrible. Eye poking noise is visible on every shot, day or night. I hope they can fix this through better noise processing. After all, that Tensor chip could feature advanced denoising algorithms. Vivo did an exellent job, I'm very impressed. Definitelly better for photos, much better noise handling. I use a gcam mod on my Galaxy Note 10 Plus. It produces far better photos with less noise compared to Samsung default software. So this situation with Pixel 6 Pro is a puzzle for me.

The result of this comparison checks out with the impression I got from all other proper comparisons. All are very strong, so it comes to preferences in special use cases: Night mode, tele, ultra wide, video. Pixel has better tele and video, Vivo has better night mode and ultra wide.

Did you explore the Zeiss Natural Color mode on the X70? From what I've seen it makes it much closer to the less saturated presentation of the Pixel on greens. I wonder if it closes the gap on reds too?

The audio from Vivo is louder and clearer. Like what you said, the skin tone from Vivo is not so natural as Pixel but it seems this only happens under certain circumstances but not always.
