I am using Pixel 6a for 1.5 years and my honest review is it was good when it launched but slowly it's not keeping up. Most irritating is the battery life it's not even 4-5 hours of screen on time and charging is so slow at 18W that if you run out of battery in the middle of your day then you have only one chance of carrying a power bank and don't even think of using it while charging the whole phone lags. Heating problem is the second big problem without a cover your hands will hurt when it heats and keeping it in your pocket you'll feel the heat burning your skin. The thrid problem is the screen size it's 6.1 inch which poeple who like small phones will appreciate but if you want to use it for multimedia the the screen will not satisfy you. Rest the camera , software, hardware and user experience is always the best for Pixel phones . Don't buy it in 2024 go for any other clean UI phones in this price like Motorola Edge 50 series.

I am cinematographer and using pixel 6A from past 1 year for video shoots and it can definitely beat any high end smartphones of today worth 50k .. Also in some cases it bests iphone 13 4k footage in shadow and light balancing

Watching this review on my Pixel 6a. Must say this is one of the best pixel device experience in a budget. Upgrading from Samsung Galaxy S8 to Pixel 6a was worth it. Using this as my secondary phone still it gets heated alot during outdoors. Rest assured a great device been using it since 2 years.

I have been using the Pixel 6a too, here are the issues that I've been facing: It's not bright enough in sunlight or daylight. Poor battery. The camera is good for outdoor photography and videography but is terrible when it comes to human subjects. It makes pictures darker with a lot of shadows and contrast.

It'll still have more timely updates than most of the newly launched phones. Lol. Plus the compactness along with good performance is the key reason, along with amazing camera. Synthetic benchmarks have been up-ped just by software update which shows the raw capabilities of the tensor chip which was limited due to Android 13 and the bugs.
