Pixel 8 Pro 72 Hours Later | This Is SICK !!!

Have you noticed anything odd with the cameras? I read an article on CNET that there are some issues with the cameras showing "odd artifacts, especially in high-contrast situations". Apparently Google is aware of that and it's planning to release a camera update in about 2 weeks.

Google really did kill it this year! I just got the smaller Pixel 8 and the cameras, performance, and battery has been fantastic! There is really no need to get the pro version

I just (sadly) upgraded from the V60. Only because NOBODY has followed up with a true dual screen device with multitasking. So far I am happy with the transition. (6.7" screen is nice, and familiar). Was nice to get Pixel Buds Pro for free from Google also. I have missed my dual screen with Outlook and KZbin, but this Pixel 8 Pro screen is pretty sweet. "Refinement " is a great analogy Eric.

@@TheTechPreacher ok, so after a couple days of use... Really missing the dual screen multitasking, and battery life isn't near what I used to get on my V60. I restricted background use on most apps, and ran the screen at 70% brightness. (Which was plenty bright). Still battery was at 59% or less each evening after work. Moderate usage. Feel I may send this back, which sucks cuz I have enjoyed the Pixel Pod Pros. Lol

All I was wanting this year was for Google to fix all their big issues. Overheating, battery life, improving brightness, good call quality, better and more stabile connectivity, improving sound quality and stabilizing performance. I would much rather Google fix all of that than to obsess on silly camera gimmicks and a thermometer no one wants. And to my surprise, it appears that the Pixel 8 series and the Tensor G3 has fixed all of my biggest complaints with previous Pixels.

Google did a jerk move this year. They made the 8 smaller than the 7 so that people would be more attracted to the pro model. The 8 is embarrassingly small now with a raised price. Dirty!

@@BarryJohnson I've only had it for a few hours, but I've noticed that some of the things that I really disliked with the 7 now are waaay better. Fingerprint, not Samsung, but much better than last year. Sound, way, way better than the 7!! Screen is off course it's better. Not that yellow glair anymore. Haptic feedback...WOW!! Face unlock struggles a bit in low light, but it has really improved. Good enough for me. 5G reception is not as good as S23U & Fold5. Can't get 5G inside the house with the Pixel. Really like how smooth it is/feels. My opinion: So far, so good👍🤘👍

Nice video. What is weird is, when I first setup my pixel 8 pro I was able to remove the Google search bar on the home screen. After I install pear Launcher and went back to the pixel launcher, the search bar was back and non removable. I have the search bar, which takes up real estate.
