yes! I've always gone for the smaller device. pixel 3, pixel4, pixel 5, pixel 6 was a let down because of size. so, I had to wait for the smaller a series. I still have the none pro versions but I also have the a series because of size. Same thig on apple, I always wondered why they didn't just do what apple did with the apple pro version, it's the perfect size.

I only can dream, regular pixel size but with 'pro' cameras... And YES watching tear downs of p7 & 8, there is space and they could fit few hundread mah larger capacity battery if they wanted to! 🤔 Also just make 0.5mm thicker phone nobody will feel it, it will still have the big camera bump so, no! Phone wont be 'a brick' and then you could fit great capacity battery with real two day, or maybe more battery life! One day battery life is a thing in past! And NO! Super/ultra/ mega/giga fast charge isnt sufficient because there are times where you have no plug charging availability!

That new Camera Bar design is hideous! As awful as the Apple efforts. The 6-8 option was a perfect solution. I am planning to upgrade my lovely 6a this year, to either the 8, or 8a, but am hanging fire for price drops. Can't see my being tempted by the 9 options. It will, however, be interesting to see how case manufacturers get around this one! 😉😉

As someone who every day cleans their pixel with paper towels soaked in 91 percent rubbing alcohol I think I'll hate cleaning around the pixel 10 camera bar. I've been cleaning my pixels since the 6 with 91 rubbing alcohol and never had any issues with moisture going inside the phone. And I literally soak the phones. Also knock on wood, I've never had COVID.

Dont get your hopes up, everyone cheered about pixel 6 and Tensor G1, but we all know how reliable it was... It wasnt completely bad but ONLY NOW with G3 and upcoming G4 this chipset is and should be truly polished in p9 to perfection and working like google stated in its wonderful G1 promises! Soo.. yea, for my main device i would rather buy pixel 9, then wait out p10 &11 and then set my sight on p12 or p13 when this new generation chipset will be truly polished and reliable! (Without heating issues, random stutters, restarts) forced software patches and so on.... 😉

i don't understand what is messy in android , al app have the same "back" gesture, keyboard (gboard) has number row, pictures are great if not perfect, video is not like iphone perfect , but it is really well, battery can go all day, if you install chrome, firefox, opera, edge or some.pther browser , it is really that browser not just layer over safari, finding contacts in app phone on numeric keyboard, no wapp or viber calls in phone log app, easy transfer files with windows, quick share (anroid version of airdrop) works really good, real control over wifi and bluetooth in quick settings, easy access to settings from every app , all settings of some app are in that app (no need to go to settings on phone to find app) ability to set ring tone, notifications, alarms, media independently (that is one of best things) there is many more things, but hopefully with ios18 these things will come to iphone too, so I won't write them

I’ve seen so many people complaining about the new Pixel 9 design. Many are saying it looks too much like an iPhone as if that’s a bad thing. Take a look at Samsung and Motorola too, they’re all headed in that direction with the design language. I think it looks super premium and I like how Pixels change their appearances each year. As a former Pixel user, I’m hoping the overall performance and software experience vastly improves. But I’m guessing it won’t change much till next year when TSMC is doing Tensor.

Things I'd like to see: no AI at all, better battery life in general, actually functional connectivity, getting back to making things just work, & hopefully a 44-45 mm watch that has decent battery life. AI is going to render ete encryption useless as all that data will be available to any companies AI. Just look at Adobe's fiasco for what's coming. The watch really needs to improve drastically. It's a great looking unit with terrible battery life currently. And to top it all off, connectivity between devices with Google's own devices or others has been extremely variable to be kind. A Pixel 2 watch being unable to sync with a Fitbit on a Pixel 7a or a Bluetooth headset the phone (7pro) recognizes but can't connect with are just 2 examples. I'd MUCH rather Google addressed cute competencies than give us a "catch up", half baked AI people didn't ask for and don't really want.

I am so happy to see the August date and I hope they will keep it up for future years too. Apple makes it look like they invented AI. They are licensing Gemini from Google and ChatGPT. I am glad to see that Google is stepping up. I would love to see Snapdragon chip instead of Tensor. Also, Samsung phones are available over 140 countries while Pixle only in 17. Cannot believe how poorly the marketing is done from Google!

Google needs to step up their game, the build quality is really poor, they offer cheap hardware for a premium price tag. And boy the issues known with the Pixel 8 were ridiculous, mine had the "green screen issue" which appeared randomly, a lot of people had this issue as well. I couldn't beleive the Pixel watch 2 went to a 4 contact point for charging, absolutely idiotic!
