I can relate those OnePlus images with my Xperia 1 V . Post processing are quite similar. Natural colours, Less processing involved which resulted in less artifacts, Slightly over exposed under harsh Sunlight, mature foliage and lesser noise.

This one was kind of difficult to pick because at times I liked what the Pixel produced but other times the OnePlus was better. Also for the audio, I prefer the OnePlus as I think you were possibly using the noise canceling feature on the Pixel. Either way... you cant lose with neither of these awesome devices. Great video!!!

This was an awesome comparison, really great to see these side by side in such detail. It felt like they really went toe-to-toe on this one. Pixel definitely wins at macros and generally on video, but I think OP has it beat on low light without having to rely on night sight/mode. That night sight video from the Pixel absolutely smoked it though, no comparison. It even helped with the stabilization. One thing I'm interested in is skin tones. I have had Xiaomi and Samsung phones and I hate that they lighten skin so much, the "beauty" filters that you often cant even remove really wash out darker skin. What I found interesting here is that it seemed like Pixel might have got the skin colour closer(?), but it removed SO MUCH DETAIL compared to OP. And OP didn't feel like it aggressively whitened as much as I've seen on other phones, so it might be the winner there. Certainly in low light it was better there too. I liked the mic on the OnePlus better during the night shots, getting the footsteps and background noise just felt a lot fuller than singling out just your voice. Sometimes its nice to have the ambience.

Both great but I prefer the Pixel. I like the microphone better too on the Pixel because it reduces more background noise although the OnePlus sounded crisper.

Great comparison! The OnePlus does a better job of handling the noise in most of the scenarios and it has the better microphones in my opinion. I chose the OnePlus as my new daily phone a few months ago and I always wanted to compare it against the new Pixel Fold. Now I can clearly see the strengths and weaknesses of each phone. The OnePlus's hardware gives it the edge here. Thanks for the in depth look 👍

Thanks BG, the OP larger sensor takes In more light which makes it tough in the California sun and could be fixed with playing with the exposure, but point and shoot the Pixel impressed given the lesser hardware. The Pixel just doesn’t have as good depth of field with the smaller sensors. Appreciate you checking it out!

The Pixel Fold images look a little flat... I own one and I find it a bit annoying that I can't snap a quick pic, I find I need to edit or use the pro controls to get better images
