Although this isn't Online anymore, there could be a glitch in a few years where this version goes back Online because a guy named ExxotikGaming did a tutorial in December 2019 on how to get Old Pixel Gun 3D and then when he was on there, he couldn't play Online because it forced him to Update but then in May 2021, he did the same tutorial again and then he was able to play Online so maybe within a few years we could go back Online on this version which would be Awesome!

No the only way this works again is that Cubic Games goes bankrrupt and close forever

Because Cubic Games manually closed this servers, but i don't think the servers will go back to work if Cubic Games disappears.
