Great review! I was not planning on getting this one, but I agree with you. A young Jill would have gone NUTS for this. I collected "Littest Pet Shop" back in the 90s when they actually looked like real animals. I would have put this on my Christmas list for sure.

@@JillGrygas oh man I loved the littlest pet shop vpet. Would love a video on that from you or Pandabunny. Planning to get one back myself soon. The gameplay wasn’t so much about taking care of the pet, thought it included that, but it was about exploring and playing games and I found it so much fun! Without the pressure of a normal vpet.

I’m glad you made a video on it. It’s adorable, as a dog lover it hits that spot, but that’s about it. The aesthetics are not worth the price point for me. And much like the bitzee, i find the gameplay too boring to want it in my collection. So i’m glad you made videos on these pets because 1 it’s always interesting to see what kind of new vpets are out there regardless, and 2 I can make a more informed decision on what I buy or not 🙂

This virtual pet is mainly focused on kids and not like a tamagotchi experience. It's indeed cute but not for me. Thanks for the review! 😉

Such a fun review and also really interesting as I have been curious about these devices. I absolutely love the design, and like you said it would make a really cute desk buddy, however at the moment I don't think I will be adding to my collection 🐶

There was a japanese pet kinda like that. Great video! I think i’ll do the same as i’m doing with the bitzee. I played the last bitzee for a short amount of time. I’d like to see the new ones but I know i’ll only play them for a short time then just put them in my collection. So i’ll wait to see if they go on sale. (The first bitzee was heavily reduced eventually near me) maybe these will go on sale too.

On Facebook, I am a part of "Tamagotchi Collectors". On Discord, I am a part of "Tamagotchi Collectors" and "Tamagotchi Puroland"! Lately, Instagram has been my favorite place for updates and connecting with other virtual pet collectors! Even though it's not a "community hub" like Facebook or Discord, there are a lot of active collectors on there.

I got the corgi one just today as a treat, i think its very cute so far ^^ i love gimmicky pets, and pets with weird form factors so i needed one i think hehe❤ also i love the on off switch ^^ ngl this toy reminds me of a robot dog i have, i think its called mintID dog-e ? Just with the ear and nose interaction and the touch sensors :) I can agree tho in ur point about having nothing really compelling to keep you coming back, i think this is more of a collector thing for me since i like weird shaped pets :) i hope they make kitty ones!

It looks very cute in the form factor. It certainly has that going for it. But it seems to me that for $30 it ought to have a bit... "more"... to the game. But I have to say it certainly is adorable.
