The worst soldier you could be under General Apollos command would be an archer. "Bombard them with archers!" "Umm, General Apollo, don't you man bombard them with *arrows*?" "Nope! Fire the archers out of the catapults!" Victory is assured with this mans tactics. He is truly a man to be feared.

a little info for you pixie, Nazg translates to "ring" and Hai translates to folk. so those elite beserksers, you can call them ring-folk. hope that helps.

In every video with Rhun in it they seem to do very well right before you leave the area and focus on another. Then when you go back to that area there's thousands of those golden-plated guys on the ground dead.

I think people need to stop being afraid of getting lower tier elven units, especially with the high elves. I get that small but really elite armies are kind of their thing, but even their militia are fantastic. Just bring a couple quendi units, a few noretirno, to fill out your numbers. They aren't even much worse than the eldarinwe.

Pixelated Apollo love your hard work and dedication. You've come so far great job. I have a suggestion for a battle. "Battle of Unnumbered Tears" from the simarillion and children of Hurin. Three armies for the good and 3-4 for the orcs and evil men. Two elven and arnor or Eriador(something with dunedian) army setup. The men and a elven army facing off against three armies of orcs with a reinforcing army for both good and evil. The second elven army comes in and then after that the evil men come in. More information in children of Hurin and simarillion if you have the time just a suggestion for a future video.

You know, now that I think about it, this whole map is amazing and perfect for a last stand battle. The high canyon walls, narrow pathways, uneven terrain and plenty of chokepoints all combine to make a truly majestic cinematic experience. Hope I worded that right.

Watching this while a battle finishes on total warhammer, where the back up for the enemy couldn't show up in a siege against me because of the custom map. It actually saved me but still an extra half hour is really boring. So thanks Apollo for this amazing video

This is how it goes: 1st video - Men of Dale and Dwarves of Erebor vs. Easterlings (Siege of Dale) 2nd - Men of Dale and Dwarves of Erebor vs. Rhun (Siege of Erebor) w/ a reinforcements of the Iron Hills for the good guys. 3rd - Thranduil and Elves of Woodland Realm vs. Dol Guldur (Siege of Dol Guldor). pls pls haha! In the spirit of march madness, I think it would be cool to do a Third Age Tournament. sixteen or so players all get 20,000 florins to make an army, and they have to stick with that exact army comp the rest of the tournament. It would basically be a a bunch of 1v1 pitch battles and the winners would advance to the next round. Idk just an idea. Like if you agree.

Nice battle, but I can only say one thing: LOOSE FORMATION! Pls guys use this loose formation button. In Medieval 2 this button is life saving! And outflank like Isengard did in the beginning, that brakes the morale of the troops.

**Spoiler (don't read comments if you don't want it spoiled.)** I don't mind the last player charging down the hill. In this case, I don't see how just standing and guarding a choke point is a valid strategy. Apollo literally talked about how much crossbow ammo Isengard had left but two seconds later he faults the player for not just standing in 1 spot and accepting the crossbow bolts to the face while trying to defend. I mean standing around and getting murdered by crossbows is a terrible strategy. The only real hope the player had was to charge down the hills and get lucky and chain route one side. Yeah he probably would have survived a little longer but it would have removed the tiny chance he had of winning. Surely I'm not the only one who cringed every time Apollo criticized the Silvan Elves player for choosing to charge down instead of accepting death by crossbow?

Lots of people just shaming the good guys which I thinks really unfair, sure they could of done things different and maybe won but firstly they did their best and secondly your taking away from the evil forces, what a performance, harad dude, bad luck, whoever was facing that silvan army was going to get rinsed and you took once for the team, rhun, good job man, you got wiped out but you negated the high elves very well by forcing them out of position. Isengard, pure sex appeal that mate, I don't think I like any sight in third age better than a well co-ordinated isengard army. That ! Is how you use an evil force, you completely annihilated the men, then cleaned up the high elves, then cleaned up the silvan 😂 fantastic play
