*INSTRUCTIONS*
To use the new Flash Drive X feature, please do the following:
1. Prepare the USB drive by removing all the partitions on the USB drive on your home computer (all content will be deleted)
- Windows users: Open Disk Management tool and delete all the volumes under the USB drive.
- Mac users: Open Disk Utility app and delete all the partitions under the USB drive.
2. Insert the USB drive into the ALU and select Flash Drive X under Settings menu
3. Select [Format] to prepare the drive (you only need to do this the first time)
4. Select [Mount] after the previous step to mount the drive onto the ALU (you'll need to do this after every power cycle)
5. Select [Download] to download AtGames certified apps into your USB, you should see a list when it's done.
6. To Start/Stop an app, highlight it in the menu and use the C button to toggle.
To use the new PixelcadeX feature, please do the following:
1. Connect your Pixelcade via the right USB slot on the ALU.
2. Insert a USB drive in the left USB slot on the ALU and follow the Flash Drive X steps, PixelcadeX will be automatically downloaded into the drive.
3. Select PixelcadeX icon under BYOG tab

Make sure on the back of your Pixelcade inside the cabinet flip the toggle to "USB" mode instead of Bluetooth and run the included USB cable to the port on the cabinet.

@@UAG I have not tested that myself personally but I've only had it for a day or two. I do have a couple blank external hard drives I could give it a shot and see what happens.

What you do when u get to the download part at the end and it says download fail everytime very frustrating and my pixelcade doesn't work right in Bluetooth mode either

So in order to use this pixelcade marquee you have to leave it plugged in with a cable dangling on the front left of the control panel where the usb ports are? Or is that just for the initial setup and there is some kind of internal way to hook it up after it is set up? Sorry if this is a dumb question...I have pre-ordered these items on Atgames website and don’t have them yet.

For now, you have to plug it in via USB. Hoping they can Bluetooth connect it down the road.

I got a 128 GB Flash Drive by the way and the last text I get while formatting is mkfs.ext4...don’t know what that stand for, but I’m not getting the successful message at the end like you. I can’t even get out of it. I have to turn off the arcade to get out of it.

Are you on the firmware 4.26.1? They released a patch last night. Also reach out to Al on Facebook or PixelCade.org. he's been discovering some issues with larger USB drives. I've only been using a 32GB one have you tried using a much smaller Drive than 128? 128 is a little bit of Overkill considering you only have one application on there it takes too long to format that size

The Marquee will match the game you have pointed to on the menu and while you're playing that game the matching marquee shows for the stock 350 included games.

I did everything you did but, downloaded all the Pixelcade stuff but, I keep getting a an error saying that Flashdrive X doesn’t exist and need to restart the arcade message when I hit start. What am I missing?

Hey man. I’m really stuck here. Why is it not working? I did exactly what you did in the video. Format it to fat32 and deleted the volumes then connected the the pixelcade to the right port on the LU and the Flash Drive on the left port. Then went to format it and it is not letting me format it.

My disk is not formatting. I formatted my disk to fat32 and deleted the partitions like you did and then I inserted the flash drive on the left and the pixelcade on the right I get a this: flash Drive X: mkfs.ext4 and then nothing happens.

Super Easy! You unscrew your existing marquee and screw this one right in - Al Lazer Cuts these to fit the dimensions of the Arcade Cabinet perfectly. You then go into the back of the machine and run your power. Check out the pixelcade playlist on my channel.

So in order for it to work the Pixelcade USB has to always plug in and the Pixelcade X USB also plug in. That hog up both USB drive. We can't use our BYOG games anymore. There's gotta be a better solution like bluetooth connection.

Hi DJ! So when the cabinet goes into Attract Mode if PixelcadeX is running, the pixelcade DOES NOT cycle - however this is something AL will add into a later update. I love how we just click 'download' as I showed in the video and any updates will be sent over. It's super cool.

Couple questions, so do you need to keep your flashdrivex and pixelcade plugged in for this to work after install? Can you use a hub?

Hi Ernie! For the sake of 'ease' I only tested using this on its own. However, I plan on testing with my USB Hubs I use for guns and stuff. I figured let's show the 'basics' before we make it complicated.
