xLights Webinar: Convert xLights Effects into Video Files

I am looking for something very similar but looking for effects exported as a movie (hopefully in my projectors native resolution of 1280x800) that I could then show on my projector screen. I am thinking a minute long video of a screen filling shot of a butterfly effect on a panel or on a mega tree, some bars, etc. This first year I am thinking just a house outline + the projector on a single car garage door to add a little interest. Can I get decent actual video maybe by putting a 1280x 800 virtual panel in xLights and then putting effects on that and exporting as a video? How huge would those files be? Is there a better way - okay, everybody put your Christmas shows back up so I can come around and video stuff!!!

You can build a 1280x800 matrix in xLights and apply the desired effects. Make them for the length of the video you want. Then export them from xLights. I'm not sure how big they would be, but it's easy enough that you could try on your own and find out.
