I think the best part of it is that he's not holding back laughter while speaking either, even while the others are laughing. he stays FULLY in character. He just BECOMES eggman drunkenly pissing on the moon out of anger and grief in that moment.

Here’s what’s even crazier, he did it without stopping from the previous scene. If you saw the Behind the Dub, you would know they went straight from that into this scene without stopping. If you haven’t seen it, do it. It will make the callout post better for you.

Both the hero story and this were done in one session with a short break between the hero story and this. During that break, Alfred told a story about a friend he had in school would put hot sauce on everything so they made a joke about when Shadow showed up. During the gameplay parts that were cut in the actual video, Ryan would starting singing the Pumpkin Hill theme for every level which why he point it out once they actually get there. There's a behind-the-scene video for this on this dub and it's great.

I think that's because of the energy Chase brings to every dub. He's so good at landing punchlines the others set up, and his parts are usually some of the best parts of any fandub

i fucking LOVE showing people this fandub solely to see their reactions to 18:53, and my god your reaction to that was top notch haha. i remember showing this to my friend Nick a couple years ago, who's WAY more of a Sonic fan than i am, and he absolutely LOST HIS FUCKING SHIT at that part and we ended up rewinding it like five or six times. it was the tenth or eleventh time i had seen the fandub but it was the hardest i had laughed at that scene since the very first time i saw it.

Glad that you died laughing from the explosion after shadow casually said "maria". Its the only part that had me laughing so hard. Like the pissing on the moon part is funny too, but the timing on this one is too good. When I first saw the video, it was during by break. Had to go back to class and that clip came up as I was walking in the hallway and can't stop laughung when I entered the classroom. Was embarrassing but worth it.
