@@thenameisnits It depends upon what your preferences are. Both brands are great but they cater to a specific audience. LG G8X is a phone for people who know to use Manual mode on cameras, the manual mode on LG phones since V30 is unmatched. Also the Audio DAC on LG is supreme which is 32bit quad dac compared to 16bit on all other phones on the market, that means a pure sound coming from the 3.5 audio jack. It can be used with a dual screen, has wireless charging, IP68 etc and the most important thing LG has a great hardware. Plus the mics on LG phones are too good. One plus 7t is a great phone too but its a performance beast, software on 7t is much cleaner and appealing than G8X. Also the camera auto mode on 7t would be much better than what LG does on its software for after processing. Also has a fast charging than G8X. It depends upon what you like to have in your phone. A crazy multimedia device like G8X for advance users or a 7t for general users who expect good performance and basic tasks at ease.

Lg g8x (thinq) has a problem with it's front camera(infinite focus set permanently) one can download n use gcam to fix that for selfies. But how to make front camera videos with it? It gives soft video. Not enough detail. Faulty bokeh mode. N no KZbin channel is showing whether it's studio/manual video/etc. modes works for FRONT CAMERA. Sir please tell me which smartphone is good for FRONT CAMERA mobile filmmaking? Please respond ASAP. 🙏🙏🙏

Also, they say the front camera issue could be fixed with a software update, but LG is notorious for very few n slow updates for it's smartphones. Do you think this history of LG ignoring it's smartphones n only focusing on all the other appliances that it makes v well change n they will send update? Lg g8x's software is not optimised for it's excellent hardware. I do not posses other devices to do the editing. N I need a smartphone camera where I can see the screen while recording. I want to create KZbin channel for disability rights awareness n cannot invest in it before monetisation because of disability(priority expense) n financial limitations. I already need a new phone, old one is on it's last legs after years of use so want to hit two birds with one stone n make my bucks go as far as they can. I got aquestion. I have a phone and 2 old cameras, all of them perform nice when it comes to product photography etc. but when it comes to landscape photography, i cant get any sharpness into the pictures. on first sight it looks nice but if you zoom in, just a little bit, you see that it looks much more like an oil painting which has nothing to do with sharpness. this happens to my phone camera, but also to the other cameras, even though the auto focusses seemed to work fine. one camera is a 16 megapixel all in one with a 35x zoom and the other is a very old sony alpha 500 (12 Megapixels) with a variation of 3 lenses. the phone is a xiaomi mi a2 with a 20 megapixel sensor. so how to get sharp landscape pictures without that muddy oilpainting look when zooming in?

Clear the lens, use a smaller aperture, turn off noise reduction algorithms

@@theflavourist1985 Never use digital zoom, because it's not actually zooming-in, but simply cropping into the sensor - therefore you're losing resolution and image quality. Only zoom in with lenses that are able to optically zoom i.e. with lenses that do NOT have a fixed focal length like primes.

Lg phones are nice, i got v30+ thinq and it is tooo amazing, but there are few notable issues which i wish they would have fixed..but still 1) their auto mode, now manual mode is great for steady pics but for grp photos, ppls can't stay steady that long and lg's auto mode is nowhere close to apple, samsung or pixel ( now many would say use gcam but it's not performing upto the expectations, i tried multiple mods, they r usually for night photo graphy which doesn't matter much as shutter speed here is great ) 2) when really bright object such as tube light comes into the frame, it makes it tooo whitish, now if i go in manual mode and increase shutter speed, it makes it go too dark.....in such situations, u really can't do anything ( for example if u have to take picture of tv front wall and on both sides, there are window behind tv ) On the other hand, samsung and mostly apple, their ai quickly detects too much light and they kinda make it bit warmer and cleaner. 3) no portrait mode, actually i got portrait on 5mp front camera but not on back lol, idk why...it doesn't matter much for me as i usually do manual focus if background is far behind and if not, then also snapseed helps :) 4) this one is ...idk how to say but kinda biggest disadvantage, not with lg but almost 99% smartphones but it affects lg most because they highly rely on manual mode. --> so in summer, typical sunny day, you go outside, do manual adjustments and try to take pic, but when u come home and see those pics, they are way different than what you imagine u have taken. Thing happens is, you can't see screen nicely with that much sunlight and as lg's auto mode kinda suks, it don't produce nice photos +__=
