Hey Alex, in part 2 towards the end did you flash any firmware onto your pixhawk ? could you show us the steps to do that please and then come to part 3.

I did not flash anything in part 2. I did the entire pixhawk setup in part 4 so I'd recommend checking that out. Part 3 is just how to setup your transmitter the way I did it and refer to it in part 4.

I don't personally have a Flysky transmitter so I don't know the exact steps, however, as long as you can find your bind option you should be able to follow the same general steps. Also, I don't think that Flysky transmitters are compatible with Frsky receivers so definitely check that out first.

Thanks! Yes another transmitter would also work. Just make sure that the transmitter/receiver supports sbus if you are using this port on the pixhawk.

my motors are not starting any idea why that is happening?

Motor function depends on your ESC's, which are the wires that connect the motors to your power distribution board. Have you soldered them correctly?

@@AlexFache but by qground control is it not possible to arm the drone without assigning a special arming switch? because it takes up one channel just to arm it

I believe that you can turn off arming. I don't remember the parameter name but there is one that allowed me to do some testing early on without it. This should then allow you to turn on your quad, turn the safety off via the gps then automatically be disarmed. However, I would recommend an arming channel if you can afford it to prevent accidental spin ups
