@@OsberIHL Right now Jedi Training Academy is not currently offered at Walt Disney World or in Disneyland. It ended when covid started & has not yet returned. However, I highly recommend a visit to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge to fly the Millennium Falcon, join the resistance, Visit Ooga's Cantina or Docking Bay Seven & even enjoy some Blue Milk. If you want a totally interactive experience check out the new Star Wars Galactic Star Cruiser Hotel in Walt Disney World. The Halcyon ship is now departing on two night voyages. I know what you are saying about the age limit, but the good thing is that now Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge offers an area in the park that kids of all ages can enjoy. They have opened a brand new area of the theme park called Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and there are two amazing attractions located there. Jedi training is currently on pause due to the covid protocols, but hopefully it will return soon. Yes Star Tours is the current Star Wars ride and it is located right next to the stage used for Jedi Training Academy.

I just noticed something. A lot of the poses and movements look exactly like yoga poses. For example, the "attack" pose looks just like a combination of Warrior 1 and Warrior 2. Coincidence? The "left shoulder/right shoulder" looks a lot like the lunge pose (if you're a beginner). I took up yoga last year and it's one of the best things I've ever done.

I'll never forget this shit... I watched this when I went there, and the lady literally chose every kid around me except for me to do the training... They even let them keep the cool jedi robes/cloak... I'll never forget that shit from when I was in elementary. Yall will probably tell me "grow up" but when I was little that made me cry lol. I'm sorry to hear that. Your experience must have been a number of years ago. I've never known them to allow the participants to keep the robes. Also, in Disney World you have to sign up to participate in Jedi Training & it is a matter of getting to the park early enough to get your name on the list. In Hollywood Studios they no longer choose people from the audience.

Zachary Pearce I apologize Zachary, I was referring to Disney World because that is where this video was taken. In Disneyland they still pick children that are lined up to participate, but I have never seen them allow the children, mine or any others, to keep the robes. There are tricks to getting chosen & I always tell people that if you don't get chosen for one show, and you really want to participate, go to another show; I think that the cast members tend to remember repeat visitors. Always be sure to arrive early so that you can be right at the front when they are choosing. Here is a link to the video from Jedi Training in Disneyland. Pixie Dust Adventures Those cast members at Disney parks don't have regular old meaningless jobs.... as Zachary has shown. They can influence happiness or sadness in children who they interact with, and they will remember those memories, good or bad, for the rest of their lives.

I can't imagine being the cast member that had to choose the children for Jedi Training; I would want to pick them all. I find that with Disney, if you really dream of doing something, don't give up on your first try.

This particular video is in Walt Disney World. Unfortunately Jedi Training in Walt Disney World & in Disneyland has been paused since the start of covid-19. However, if you are visiting Disneyland, make sure you go to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge & experience the amazing themed land, attractions & food.
