It could be different simply because they're non-native English speakers, so to be efficient in the game they're using simple words. It may also be the reason why the Korean team prefers full Korean rosters because you can get more detail and context when comms in your native language

I mean, as a malaysian, the comms are not unclear. They’re definitely not as clean as NRG’s but it’s efficient regardless, and tbh in the heat of the moment, everything probably registers clearly. Also, it just wouldnt be efficient for them to use “proper” english over the ASEAN english accent because it’s not natural to them. I think it’s a LITTLE close minded to call it messy or chaotic, I think theyre just a bit more unserious and speaking a different type of english than what Shanks is used to. Plus, theyve been a team for a looooonggg time so they probably know each other well and also southeast asians speak fast as fuck in general lol.

Honestly if an American or european speak with their english accent in hk/sg servers it would sound gibberish to me compared to ph/indo/malay/sg english since im more used to the sea english especially in intense situations.
