I was really expecting Mario to say "Aren't I done yet" during the part where every door turns into a boo and goes flying away. My favourite bit was when Luigi felt bad for Yoshi, so he gave him a berry, but then the door closed. Edit: Actually it was when mario dropped the apples and had en emotional flashback to when Luigi gave him the berries right in the middle of fighting that stoopid dragon!

Which makes sense since the end of the SNES had "Mario is Missing". Mario 64 DS though made some marked improvements.

This sums up co-op really well. 2 players is good and you both can throw each other go in bubble and more. BUT if you have 3 or 4 players it’s a battle for 1-ups it’s chaos and you keep killing each other too much. You steal power ups even when you already have one and you get mad. That’s the whole story

In general, Mario doesn't disparage Luigi; He actually cares about Luigi. There are at times when they do bad things to each other, but that doesn't mean Mario is a bad brother to Luigi. With those two together, they make an excellent duo.
