The song tells the biblical story of Sampson. Delila seduced him and cut his hair, the source of his power. He had his eyes gouged out. When his hair grew back they chained him to the pillars of the temple during a 3 day celebration. His hair had grown back and with his power he pulled down the pillars of the temple killing all his enemies. Pixies are the sum of 4 great musicians.

Kurt Cobain claimed he got the whole quiet/loud thing from being a pixies fan
@NxDoyle3 жыл бұрын
It was more a statement than a claim. In his final interview with Rolling Stone, Kurt said he was "basically ripping off the Pixies" in his dynamic approach to Teen Spirit. Kurt never spoke more specifically than this about the influence/inspiration Pixies had on Nirvana's sound. He was a fan, obviously, both of the Pixies and the Breeders. It ended up informing his decision to go after Steve Albini for the In Utero recording, given that Steve recorded Surfer Rosa for the Pixies and Pod for Kim.

How about try “Ted, Just Admit It” by Jane’s Addiction or anything from Mike Patton. ✌️
