You know that train spotting was one of the very best under rated or under appreciated movies of all time. I can't tell you how realistic that movie is and why it hits so hard with people from uk and especially north/Scotland. Normally in movies you see the glamorous version of life in the uk through the scope of London. In train spotting you were shown a glimps that up north is a whole other world. The movie potraid life up here, how it feels and how things go on, even down to the style of houses and the conditions they are in, its so damn realistic that you know the guys who made this movie have seen that shit. Even the people in the movie are all realistic as fk, we all know a Begbie. It shows you all the signs of a broken region with many job losses and millions of forgotten people/cultures that are worlds away from the propaganda clips of London, this stuff wasn't shown back then, it's why this movie is so damn good. I also think train-spotting really resonated across the west too, where people can relate to the normal (often ignored) shitty living conditions/bad habbits in the west. I think movies like fight club and American beauty were heavily inspired by hard hitting reality of normal people being broken by boring western life or shitty conditions like in train spotting.

Also the best depiction of drug addiction. How it grips you, how people look at you/ don't understand. It's obvious but also understated, like real life. Like these guys are still humans that wanna eat,sleep and fuck but they have another element to thier existence.

@@l_harpy_l2350 Периодически подает жалобы концерн Warner Music Group на канал i'm cyborg but that's ok на эту композицию, у которых имеются эксклюзивные права на распространение альбомов группы Pixies. Причина? Скорее всего хотят забрать монетизацию с этой ролика себе, плюс возможно желают еще и компенсацию получить с уже заработанных просмотров.
