because they aren't allowed to any more. The 1990's was a time when sex before marriage was allowed in teenage drama's and Dawson's Creek was edgy because they had a gay character. Now that is all old hat. A teenage drama now would need a trans character to be edgy but that would not be edgy it would the real world. I miss My Also Called LIfe.
