I make my fake breast milk with all free and clear laundry fabric softener , water and yellow washable crayola marker. Draw on a square of paper towel and add the square of paper towel to the water and softener and that is Mariah Reborn channel showed me.

By the way , miracle milk is basically soluble cutting oil for steel shops, it has milk look but leaves residue. Try using floor polish or floor wax

I have quick shine & mop & glow "both of which have a milky color when you squirt on the floor, but they don't get diluted for the floors so just wondering if I should dilute or try as is?". Man, I thought the Baby Alive magic bottles were awesome when I was a little girl... I was not ready for this. Ceram wrap magic bottle is way cooler. XD Thank you so much for this tutorial! I'm expecting my first Reborn by September of this year so I'm new to all of this. He will be an "alt" baby though so I needed to know how to make the bottles like this because most people seem to just create and sell the milk/juice ones but my little guy is gonna need a different mixture that I may have to make on my own.

Aw, congratulations on your first reborn you're expecting! Getting ready for them is so much fun! Yeah, you can use anything in these bottles. I've seen the blood bottles for little vamplings "best for that is the fake blood for costumes" , I've seen green done for alien babies "green food die in water, or green food die added to miracle milk for a more milky green" and some ppl add sparkles. I've seen purple & pink done for pixi babies & unicorn babies. You can get really creative with what you put in them. My latest fun has been making the Mason Jar bottles & getting it to look like breast milk lol Those magic bottles were so awesome I remember them! They had the milk & juice ones around since I was a little girl. I remember as I got older my Mom letting me get a real baby bottle to play with my dolls, but I had no clue how to seal the nipple or make anything that looked like milk. I think it's really cool that kids now a days can look this stuff up & get creative! It just makes life more fun! 🥰

I have been wanting to get my first Reborn since I was maybe 17 years old and I'm 30 now so I've had to wait quite a while. haha Thank you so much for all the tips. ^_^ I am a bit surprised though to hear that the costume blood works! I already have a bottle of fake blood that I keep on hand because I love the spooky things, I wonder if it will be okay to use? It's "Spirit" brand blood from the "Spirit of Halloween" stores- one of my favorite chains to shop at when they do reopen every year. XD Yes, those Magic Bottles were my favorite doll accessory as a kid. Those and the spoon and bowl set that would "magically" make the food in the spoon disappear with a spring mechanism when you pushed it against something like the baby's lips. My friends and I couldn't get enough of them. haha I had that same experience, although it was with one of my bottles from when I was small. I didn't like that half as much though. lol I remember we didn't have internet when I was a young kid at my house (didn't get it until 2002) and yeah, a lot of things were way more challenging to do without being able to look them up. Normally, I'm a very nostalgic person but I have to agree with you on how awesome it is that kids today can just look this stuff up. :)

Try half water half white unscented fabric softener and as many drops of miracle milk you want and a tiny dab of yellow gel food coloring. That's what I use and it lasts a long time.

Very cool 😎. I needed this a looong time ago. When I first closed a nipple, I put a tiny dot of silicone on the OUTSIDE of the nipple! 😂 it actually worked and I still use that bottle for photos! It did take 24 hours to dry as I recall. Then I just used white food coloring in water for the milk. 😂. I’m gonna try the Dawn fabric softener with yellow cap. I used Downy and the milk turned BLUE! I’m a mess.

Heads up be careful of certain fabric softener they will turn your silicone bottle nipples really dark yellow orange and it's hard to get the stain out. Downy is best so that was my own fault getting the Snuggles exhilarating... Stay Away from Snuggles. Never had issues with Downy. Lotion good too so far anyways if you water it down enough so it doesn't seperate and add what ever coloring to your liking..

To seal my nipples, cause I hate to wait, is I buy the soft UV Silicon Glue or SuperFlex UV soft silicon glue, which is easy to find on amazon in the arts and crafts section - normally you use it to make silicon molds for making acrylic, clay objects and food items - and it cures up in under a minute using a UV flashlight for setting UV silicon. It cures under either a UV light - I use a UV flashlight and a 1/4 depth will cure in 2-5 mins. You can also set it in the sun to cure but that will take a bit longer. This UV silicon is food safe as it can be used to make bottles for any age of child to use, and if you dog or cat happens to decide to chew on it, it will not hurt them either. You can also get it in a harder cure but I like the soft or flex because its easier and softer to compress, the hard UV Silicon can be compressed to but not as much as soft or superflex. The only time I use the hard UV silicon for sealing a nipple is if its for a doll that has wide open mouth to accommodate a nipple or dolls that have sound and makes noise when the bottle is insert as it needs silicon that is not a soft cure. With the softer cure the bottle pressed against a closed or semi closed mouth will compress more and appear as if the nipple is in the baby's mouth. The UV silicon cures to the same clear transparent color, like a silicon clear baby nipple, but if your want it to look like what is in the bottle, milk or juice you can easily add India ink, or acrylic pain to color it, which is the other bonus that I like over the silicon for caulking and sealing seems like you use as it rarely takes coloring it very well. The best result with miracle milk is to initially mix it in very hot water until you get the milk color you want. If you mike it in cool or temperate water you can end up with a color change over time. That may not be an issue but if you going for different types of milk, such as real milk, formula or breast milk using hot water you get the consistency that it will keep and not run the risk over time that what you thought looked like thinner breast milk starts looking more like cows milk or cows milk either looks thinner over time or becomes more like a milkshake appearance, and if you are coloring the milk to get a soy formula beige look, your better off using India inks or acrylic paints rather than food coloring or flavoring as those do spoil over time and if the bottles leak it can reek.

Thank you for taking the time to share all of this great info! I'm sold on the UV silicone bc I'd rather not wait myself! Lol I also love the idea that you can add color! I'm sure that's a great way to make solid silicone nipples as well! I had made one for a micro preemie pacifier once by putting a lubricant & then the silicone into a jolly pop preemie pacie & letting it cure "I know they sell the correct stuff so that the silicone doesn't stick, but I improvised & used vasseline" . It came out ok & then I was able to glue it to a cut pacie of my choice so that it would fit my silicone micro preemies mouth. One day I'd like to learn to work with silicone bc I have plans to sculpt in the future. Right now I've just begun my journey in reborning so I have a ways to go before learning to paint silicone & then eventually to sculpt. Thanks again for sharing all of that it was very helpful! Doing all this stuff is so much fun! 💕

Hi Karen! Great to see you my sweet dolly friend! So I had one of the disappearing bottles made up a while back & it was good for about a year. I did have that one filled with the fabric softener so I think that's what finally did that one in, but it's real easy to just wash out the bottle & make a fresh one with a new piece of cling wrap. I'm curious if the miracle milk ones will last a bit longer. I think the fabric softener kind of eats away at the silicone nipples & plastic. I've also learned that you can use Ziploc bags for the liquid and you can use the Ziploc bags and put them in the bottles black real baby bottles and you can put them in the bottles, and then you can watch the liquid fill up the nipples and it's just like watching a baby drink a bottle I'm legally blind so that would probably be an easier way for me to make a magic bottle. I play with dolls and my husband bought me a so truly mine from Ashton drake. I call her a so truly my child baby and her name is cherish. I'm looking to start feeding her some bottles and I also learned that you can feed her that way

The plastic showing is really cool. I take sandwich bags and put them in my dolls nuk simply natural bottles with fake breast milk and after I put the top on I trim the excess plastic down allowing some to show like a drop in bag. Oh...by the way I pull the bag taunt so that it floats up a little off the bottom of the bottle with it's milk showing. How long does miracle milk last in a bottle?

It depends on a few things.... Use distilled water, sterilize the bottle first & seal it well once you put the miracle milk & "if you wish" coloring. This will help prevent mold from growing inside for as long as possible. If you just use tap water & washed bottle & don't permanently seal , it will last a yr or so.. Which is really no biggie you cam just wash the bottle & mix more miracle milk. But if you want to not ever have to bother then follow the steps to sterilize the water & bottle & seal permanently. Hope that helps 💗

I don't know of any reborn support groups. I know some collectors do local meet ups & there are many online doll groups. I would try the FB reborn groups & put up a post that your looking for other collectors near your area to meet up with. That's how you will find collectors near you if there are any. Or going to the doll shows. Often collectors will meet up at the doll shows. I believe the Rose Gold will be an in person event this year "hopefully".

I'm almost positive they have it down here because they got everything else because they have some type of volunteering support groups for parents with kids who have any type disability from even the mildest. But I just have to keep looking. I might just go to a group in the city we're I'm from because I'm not from south Jersey. I just live here because I had relatives who lived here and my houseing was taken a long time to come through! I don't like south jersey but they seem to have alot of services if you know were to look 🤣. And I don't want to be apart of the reborn community I just want some other non critical reborn mom's to hopefully bond with and take our babies out together if the pandemic finishes its way out! If not I would try a zoom, Skype,Instagram or some type of other way to met up. I don't do Facebook right now just to stay safe. It seems like people look at some of us as fresh meet or something. Anyway to many wideros be after me like I'm Jesus or something out the unordernary. And I truly hate it. I told them I'm engaged and they still just don't get no thinks! As if I'm going to change my mind.
