Pixlr: Selection Tools (Marquee, Lasso, Wand)

Love it! Great for beginners with clear and to the point directions! I am linking my mom to this sight as she is introducing Pixlr to her elementary students. Also something that might help beginners is knowing that when using your selection tools you can hold Shift with Left Click to add to your selected area or hold Command or Control while left clicking to remove areas from your selection. :)

Thank you, finally getting somewhere with your help; I am new to editing other than windows photo edit, I know nothing. I have watched numerous videos to try to figure out this process, but they don't explain every step as they go and I become so lost. I so appreciate your clear and complete explanation of what you do as you click, drag, select, delete or hit ENTER (important info. for those of us who have NEVER had any experience, it matters)

I wonder if you can tell me why I get "stuck" with the lasso tool, I try to change to the eraser tool for example and I can't. Maybe clicking outside of the picture I'm working on is not the method to try and change the tools? Very frustrating that little lasso won't leave me alone, thanks! :P
