I owned a Casio basic keyboard ctx 2550 now I upgraded to yamaha psr-500 and the sound quality is amazing. I think the sound output of yamaha is much better than casio.

Actually ctk2550 is basic but ctx9000 is insane. Yamaha psr500 has 2.5 watt speakers but ctx9000 has 15 watt each. It's sound quality is also insane.

Your statement is completely wrong.ctx9000 has much much better sound than Yamaha.It is even better than sx600.yamaha lacks in sound, ofcourse

I personally own CT-X 9000IN ...The 6th point you mention that we cant particularly enable or disable the tracks of a style like bass, sfx,tabla, etc ....but for your kind information we can , we can do with the help of mixer button on top right corner of interface & can do it 👍👍👍👍

That's what it is..joh modulation knobs hai 2 aapke paas PSR mein toh yahan aapke paas ek modulation wheel hai plus expression pedal hai. Both ka I guess kaam wohi hai.. koi bhi effect assign kar saktey aap un pe to modulate tone while playing. I guess PSR se toh better hai 9000 ish mamley mein. Expression pedal ko aap jayada comfortably manage kar saktey without losing both hands on keyboard. Bas yeh modulation wheel ki jagah joy stick kar dein na toh chamak jayega yeh 9000.. tab PSR hi nahin Kai keyboards ko maat de dega yeh I guess. Yamaha mein bhi aap unh knobs pe effects toh menu mein hi assign kartey. Yahan aap ke paas ek modulation wheel hai doosra expression pedal.Aur expression pedal is way way better than any kinda knob or wheel. Aap dono haath se play kartey pairo se control kar saktey any effect ko. Expression pedal volume knob ki tarah kaam karta na.. unlike one shot sustain pedal. Ki yah toh on yah toh off. 😊 Joh current problem hain 9000 mein wheel ki jagah joystick base hona chahiye.. doosra screen touch screen honi chahiye to make it ultimate. Ab touch screen itni sasti hai dunno why they not doing it. Maani baat hai thoda internals change honge ushme to accomodate that. But socho Chinese smartphone 3000-4000 rs mein mil jata. Kya nahin hota ushme. Saala pura OS system hota ushme. Baaki 9000 badiya hai yaar I guess. Wheel ko joystick base toh kar hi do baaki kuch nahin toh. Yamaha PSR ki toh laga dega! 😊 Yamaha certainly ek cheez mein aage hai.. beginners ke point of view se not professionals... Woh MP3 files support karta toh agar aap koraoke tracks MP3 mein rakh saktey. Casio khali wav format karta aur generally koraoke tracks aapko MP3 mein hi milenge toh aapko unko pehle wav format mein convert karna hoga then woh 10 Guna jayada jagah bhi gherenge USB mein. But aajkal GBs mein USB drive aati toh utni badi problem nahin..Aur convertors aatey batch mode mein convert kar detey.. toh itna bada issue nahin hai.

In my professional opinion, Yamaha is a superior brand compared to Casio in terms of musical instruments. I personally use the SX900 and am highly satisfied with its realistic sound effects and overall quality.

Ctx is legend actually we get this function only in yamaha high end keybords , but it is leaning curve u need more time to learn all function including creating your own style ,, but i personally dislike CTX in midi function , we can't use this keyboard as midi ,there is time delay which doesnt feel good other than this ctx is awesm ,, if you are using this keyboard in any stage program (output speakers) use both L and R socket

I have Roland the E09IN , Great Indian styles. Only thing is , it has no USB storage. Only has midi in , out so there's no memory to download anything. But it plays great and the bass and chord changes are excellent. I'm from South Africa.

I am middle aged man and want to learn to play digital piano. I need a good 88 Keys ( having more features as well) Digital Piano which is best for the beginners and intermediate level. So I have shortlisted Yamaha DGX 670 and Yamaha P 225. But if there are any other best alternatives like from Roland and Korg then I could think about them too. Please suggest me.

Also in Casio CTX 9000in you get 4 variation and separate intro and ending buttons for rhythm where as in Yamaha psr i500 you get only 2 variations and a single button for intro and ending and you can create your own rhythms (using pattern sequencer)and tones in casio but not in yamaha😊
