Awesome! You might be able to increase the virtual "depth" of the inf. mirror by increasing the number of bounces in the Render Properties/Light Paths/Max Bounces/Total + Glossy (?)

My Mirror did not pass light through! If you do this in blender 3.0 try to set the IQ between 1 and 0 like 0.5 and play around.

Screen Space refraction has a depth limitation. This trick is done using path traced light bounces and refraction, which is why it requires Cycles.
