I agree with everything you said but the sad reality of the Kpop industry is that they will probably struggle for years to get recognized while Big 3 groups that release one song and then spend their time working as models for designer clothing brands get a huge fanbase instantly. They have a hard road ahead of them.

​@@lucrezia8444 BTS is not a Big 3 group. And they are the ONLY non-Big 3 group that has ever achieved that level of success. Yes, there are some other ones who did quite well like Gfriend or Mamamoo (for girl groups) but none of them have ever surpassed the popularity of Big 3 groups except for BTS. The group I was talking about is aespa. They debuted with only one song despite the fact that SM can easily afford to produce a mini-album, then instead of recording more MUSIC they immediately started working as fashion models. And despite their drastic lack of MUSIC to listen to (which is supposed to be what Kpop is), they got tons of fans and attention. Proving that their fans care more about hype and company brand name recognition than they do about, you guessed it, MUSIC. BTW YG started this with Blackpink, SM is just following their example.
