Garima, I had seen ur interview in which u mentioned how u were keen to come to Delhi to learn kathak fr Birju maharaj. To day I m sad to have lost such a great artist. I thought if I pay my condolences to u than I will feel as if I hv paid my condolences to his family. It's a great loss to the nation. May baba rest his soul.

My all time fav bandish in raga patdeep...wowowo...love and love mesmarising....beautiful....except one thing that ur expressions might be according to the part of the dance form but not adjustable to the sadness of the lyrics of the bandish..!! Thank you..!!

Thanks for liking my video....Well mood of the composition is sad but here the nayika/heroine is also feeling in her imagination that the hero has arrived and they are together but then suddenly she realises that its only her imagination and not reality...That is why there are changes in the expressions also.

The dance goes contrary to the meaning of the song...it could have been more expressive(acting) with slower pace.

Anutapa ji it’s not contrary to the meaning of the bandish. Piya Nahi aaye is a popular bandish(composition) of Raag Patdeep... mood of the composition is sad where nayika/heroine is explaining her pain of waiting for the nayak/Hero..In the choreography there are moments when she feel the presence of her lover and they are together but then suddenly she realises that its only her imagination and not reality.
