Haven’t seen this one yet! My favorite is The Strangers: Prey at Night - loved the musical choices, great atmosphere, THE POOL SEQUENCE! and the fact that in the third act the protagonists actually fight back- (the key to any great slasher movie working well).

Man…..what a snooze fest this film was. How could they follow up with this after Prey At Night. Doesn’t instill much confidence for the other 2 films. At least we have Terrifier 3 coming up in October, looking forward to the film so much that I’m actively avoiding watching the trailer for it lol.

the og Strangers is one of my favorite horrors movies, 1 of 2 of the only horror movies that have genuinely scared me. (the other being Dead Silence)

I actually like Chapter One but I agree there are problems and I do think Chapters 2 and 3 should have been kept a secret! Chapter One is OK but the original The Strangers and Prey At Night are far superior, hopefully Chapters 2 and 3 are better!

Just watched the original movie a few days ago. It was so boring. The characters were unlikable and bland. I didn't care about them at all. This one sounds similar
