non asian people in the comment here don't know that pizza is considered a semi fancy food here in asia with variety of toppings to cater to local taste (that's why in sg they have like what, laksa pizza). unlike in the us or even in italy where they usually only use cheese or tomato sauce and minimal toppings. also, this is in singapore where everything is expensive. in other asian countries like for example, indonesia, you can get the huge pizza with 8 big slices for $10 - $15. just like how mcdonalds seems bad in the us but fancy everywhere else esp in asia.
