Honestly you can tell this is like his first really big project and it still needs some polishing but it doesnt look bad, not at all! I would even go as far to say i do like the hand drawn like style, keep up the awesome work!

played the game and I noticed some bugs and weird stuff. One the bush I dout its a bug but you can walk through it, thought I should mention it. Two if you hold both directions on keyboard and let go of the key that is facing the way of the noise you will walk backwards (hopfully I explained this well.) Three the boss is very unpredictable and pretty buggy, one but makes him so scared of the noise (in his pogo form) that he just mostly keeps to right side of the screen. Those are the main problems I found, also make it so we can sprint or something.

All the things you mentioned are known, yes the boss is unfinished, the ai of his pogo will greatly be altered, the bush is also just not done, your supposed to unlock it some other way we didn’t implement yet, and yeah the hub moonwalk thing Is gonna be fixed soon

Listen, all of this is great, and honestly it’s a really creative idea, but I would rather suggest using experienced/talented animators to help with the sprites but all in all, it’s really good

We do we just don’t use them for most things, only like level completion and stuff, obviously we use it for points and stuff in the levels just not for states, but we are planning on overhauling it completely and yes adding variables to control states
