ok little theory what if weenie cop wasn't just a "first game" but actually what BECAME pizza tower? that sounds kinda weird but I have reason to think so, after looking through both weenie cops files and the pizza tower dev history, I noticed a LOT of similarities in ideas peppino was originally going to have a "shinespark like mode" that functions similarly to the peppers here there was going to be a car transformation that basically has SUPER similar animations if I remember, I think there were some sprites for peppino shooting his gun, that show it functioning similar to the one in weenie cop I could be 100% wrong but I thought the similarities were pretty interesting at the least

​@@henryd3bby in there there is a pizzacutter chainsaw and in the final game there was supossed to be a chaindaw movement super similar to that one. All the sprites have been deleted since the last patreon build of it but buggy remnants of how it worked are still present in the game

Cool theory, but McPig's old tumblr posts seem to make it pretty clear they were separate projects. Plus, it isn't that far-fetched to think that older projects influenced Pizza Tower in some ways. Happens all the time in art with artists.

The art style is still similiar but different as well. This looks more like a genesis game with the idle animation being very simple and enemies looking very cartoonish. It's very subtle but this looks less "made in MS Paint" than Pizza Tower. Not saying one is better than the other, i am just pointing out how interesting it looks
