It's intriguing how Harvey changes her appearance and performance style for each album cycle. She went from this, to seated at a piano wearing Victorian garb for WHITE CHALK, to wearing quasi-mythlogical dress and standing still at a microphone in front of a spare ensemble for LET ENGLAND SHAKE.

Man my knees buckle and it's mesmerizing to watch her body language and hear her sing ! she is so cool and sexy especially on "Dress" I admire the way she uses dynamics with her vocals. As a SESAC affiliate songwriter & Publisher myself for seventeen years now I've met some really talented female guitarists/writers and she is one of the most prolific writers & musicians I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. An original for sure and... mmm just beautiful beyond words.

Then I remember another youtube video from a concert in Chicago in 1993 when the same drummer was fading his voice playing Rid of me.
